Cordless Lamp

It's hardly bright enough but when the lights are off and it's dark, the dim light is moody and noirish. Not bad.

Very little lighting provided by these standing lamps.

These lamps give off hardly any light. I bought them because I didn't have any outlets in the middle of the room. Nice looking but just don't do the job of lighting at all. I should have returned them but I paid to have someone put them together. Very disappointing and a waste of money. NOt enough light to read by.

Batteries don't last

I bought this to operate on batteries in a place where I don't have an outlet, but as others have noted, the batteries drain really very fast. I have to use it someplace where I have an outlet and use the AC adapter.

Handsome and useful floor lamp

Just what we needed in a dark-ish area beside a sofa. Light, either via D batteries or pug-in, is great to read by yet doesn’t shine in others’ eyes. Base is weighted so the lamp is nicely stable. Not sure which power source it uses when batteries are in the compartment so left them out until needed for mobility or emergency.

Best feature isn't mentioned in the description.

The nicest unadvertised feature of this lamp is that the LEDs each sit in a recessed hole. The effect is that they'll shine fine on their target, but from almost any other angle, the're invisible. People not using the light are not annoyed by any glare. The largest drawback of this unit is that the batteries load from the bottom, so you have to lay it down to change the batteries. I measured the current usage as a bit below 150ma to 2/3 amp, depending on brightness setting. I used NiMH D cells with a 9500mah rating. This would give a calculated life of between 63 and 14 1/4 hours on one set of batteries. In my own actual use, I got 20 1/2 hours. Note that the batteries run out in a very subtle way. When they're really low, the lamp runs at minimum brightness regardless of where you have the knob set.

Not bright enough

Hoped it would cast wider and brighter light. Decently made and packaged, but finish also looks like it would scratch easily.

Cordless floor lamp Great idea

The first one didn't work unless it was plugged in. Received its replacement and it is great. Just what we needed. Works with batteries or plugged in. Heavy base and strong metal for stability. Nothing cheap about it.

Cold White Light lamp

Arrived in a small box. Took me 10 mins to put the sticks together and screw to the base. Surprisingly it does not come with chargeable battery as I thought. You need to buy D batteries separately. Produced in China, shipping to Amazon US and Amazon US shipped to Amazon UK then to me. No import tax was charged at my end. Heavy base, reasonable light, pretty to look at. Most importantly no wires for my pet to bit on.

Worth the price

A lot sturdier than I thought it would be. I like the dimming switch. Easy to assemble.

Has a nice finish and is very bright

Well made. Has a nice finish and is very bright. BAttery compartment is a little loose and batteries have to be put in very carefully or else it will not work. Works fine on power cord. The cord that runs through the pole is extra long and has to be carefully tucked in. Not sure why they had so much extra cord. Overall it works for my application.

Excellent reading light in off grid situations

This is the second lamp I have purchased. We are off grid and it makes a great reading light. Easy to assemble, easy on batteries and totally portable. Happy with the product.

Garbage product

Not bright at all, dimmer doesn't work though wouldn't want the dimmer as this gives off no light at all
