Sleeve adapter included and quality materials

I needed a hitch lock for my bike carrier but also needed a sleeve adapter. Two birds and one stone later voila.

Key broke - my fault... sort of

I dropped the lock part when the key was still inserted and it broke the key off inside the lock. Luckily I was able to pull out the broken piece with a neodymium magnet. Now only have 1 key - wish the steel hadn't been so brittle.

Great buy

I used it to lock my gooseneck plate in my truck cab. Just apply lubricant or cover it to prevent rust.

No ones popping this locking lol

Solid lock, I have used it on my Prius for months now. I love the security it does shift a bit but all hitch pins do that, an antirattle bracket will correct that. Fits 1 1/4" hitches holes nicely.

Descent design, but keyhole rusts up too easy.

The shape of the lock works great for my various hitches I use on my truck. It is very sturdy. The only con I have found is that the rubber boot does not keep moisture from getting into the lock. The car wash I go to in town insists I remove my hitch before the take the truck through the wash, so I remove this on a bi weekly basis. Even with that use, if its been raining, moisture gets into the keyhole and I have to use WD40 to get it to turn(unlock). The rubber boot could be improved to keep the moisture out.

High Quality You Expect from Curt

This hitch lock is suitable for both 2 inch and 1 1/4 inch hitches - slip the sleeve over the 1/2" shaft to provide a 5/8" pin for 2 inch hitches. I bought it solely to get the locking piece, which is a perfect fit for Swagman bicycle racks equipped with 1/2" pins. It fits the original pin from my Swagman 64663 XC RV 2 Bike Rack, and makes it into a locking pin for less than half the price of the manufacturer's locking pin.

Feels cheap but id buy it again

Not complex cheap good deterrent (if someone wanted to break it they easily could) the regular old cover for the lock works great better then the cheap plastic slides on the other ones

Missing cover, no response from Curt

The item is great. However, it was shipped with the rubber anti-humidity cover missing. I've tried multiple times to contact CURT, and I was completely ignored. I could have returned this, but I decided to keep it and give the appropriate feedback, in case anyone at CURT cares about this.
