Perfect balance of flow and dispersion width

I've owned this shower head for about 12 years and could not be happier. I bought this 2nd one as a replacement head for a second bathroom shower, but decided to give it to my daughter for her home. This is a great product and I highly recommend it. I bought and tested (and was disappointed by) 7 other shower heads before I realized that Amazon might have the one that I liked - voila! The best shower head - by far - is the Speakman Icon Anystream (8-nozzle) but my wife wasn't going to let me spend $150 for 2nd shower. We have a Speakman at our vacation home and it's AWESOME. The Hansgrohe is a close 2nd for a much lower cost. (NOTE: There are a bunch of Speakman designs, and I did try a $50 "hotel" version from Amazon, but the spray was too narrow. The good: * Perfect flow - "soft" spray. Many other shower heads that I tried had a spray that felt "needle-like". This most definitely does not. * Good spray width - this was important to me. * Durable - OK, I assume all shower heads last, but I've not had any issues. The bad - nothing I don't use the various spray patterns or massage. Just the wide spray. Also, I did remove the water restrictor. It's easy to do and improves the flow - not dramatically - but maybe by 20%. See the images I attached. You can pop it out using an awl or small screwdriver. See the attached images.

This shower head is perfect....once the flow restrictor is removed.

Too bad they're required by law to restrict the flow. However, this one is very easy to remove without destroying it. I used a dental tool and it popped right out. Actually you remove the retainer clip first, then the restrictor falls right out, followed by the o-ring. I imagine they could be reinstalled, but why would you? This extra step is why the 4 star rating under "Easy to Install" No tools required to install the shower head. The black plastic filter functions as a seal, so just thread the unit to the pipe fairly tight by hand and you're all set. The rubber sleeve isn't required, but adds a nice look to the finished installation. This will need to be cleaned from time to time and eventually replaced.

Makes showering a pleasure

I bought this to replace a Hansgrohe 5" Raindance showerhead that had become so clogged that water barely trickled out, and that had resisted all my efforts to disassemble and clean it. The flow from this showerhead is just right. It matched the rest of the fixture perfectly and was easy to install with a wrench and some teflon tape. I don't really use any setting but the shower spray, but they are there if you need them.

Nice look, nice not overwhelming power spray setting.

The power-spray setting was a nice surprise in that it has a focused spray and water doesn't need to be turned on full blast for a pleasant "regular" spray. I haven't bothered with the other two settings since the power-setting on low is great for me but by turning the water on a bit more it creates a stronger blast. Works for everyone in the household. This replaced a rainshower Hansgrohe that was too sensitive to hardish water and would end up with a leaky dribbling around the edge. Loved that rainshower head but it wasn't a good match for our water's hardness level. This smaller head has a mini-rainshower look and compliments our minimalist Hansgrohe fixtures.

coupled with a variable flow restrictor, a very satisifying (yet water saving) combination!

I splurged, and really love the performance of this showerhead. I mostly use 2 of the 3 options, the flood allows water to wrap totally around my body, and the narrower spray can really penetrate through my hair to the scalp. It also is grreat when shaving in the shower to clean the razor between strokes. I've coupled this showerhead with the below "variable flow restrictor" so as to be as conservative with flow as I want during the shower without having to mess with both hot & cold shower knobs: water temp remains the same regardless of restricted flow I choose. best versatile showerhead commbination I can imagine http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HSWPYIG/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_9 If you can afford it, a smart splurge.

Good shower head that works well

This is NOT one of those aerated shower heads that are all the rage. This delivers a very nice, adequately strong shower stream. There are three settings, and we're still figuring out which one we like best. But overall, we are very happy with this unit. We also purchased the matching pipe extension so it all looks wonderful. No one should be surprised. We purchased this primarily because of Hansgrohe's reputation and we are not disappointed. Yes, I'd buy it again.

Hansgrohe Croma E 100 Shower Head

Replaced the original Kohler shower head that came with our house. The Hansgrohe doesn't look as good as the Kohler; however, it completely out performs the Kohler. Very easy to install. The normal rain flow provides a very comfortable shower. You would never believe that this is a low flow shower head when you go to the turbo spray option. The flow is so intense that you can hardly put your face in it, but it feels great on your head and provides a fantastic scalp massage. The massage option is better than most low flow heads, but this is the weakest option of the three. Can't beat the performance for the price.

Great shower head for the money, despite government overreach

For 2.5 GPM, tough to beat. shower heads suck now due to government regulation. This one is metal on the outside and frame, and is pretty smooth selecting setting. Germans make good stuff, especially when it's not an over-engineered car, and this is not. For the price, tough to beat.

Just ok. Nothing special. Turbo is too hard and too sharp. Mid setting is too weak. Massage mode is useless
