Grower's pot will not fit inside

Look of the pot is great. It was packed well and came in perfect condition. The pot weighs 18 pounds. My only issue is that the dimensions shown on the image were not correct when I ordered. It showed a top dimension of 13" and based on this information, I planned to insert a 3 gallon grower's pot inside which is 9.5" in diameter and 11" tall. It doesn't fit because the actual top of the pot measures 9.5" from outside edge to edge and the interior of the top is only 7.75" edge to edge so the grower's pot will not fit. I sent a message to Amazon to correct the dimensions on the web page. I'm going to keep the pot since I find it attractive. My plan was to transplant a Fiddleleaf fig that has outgrown its current pot into this new pot, however, now it looks like I'll have no choice but to plant it directly inside the pot. I would have preferred putting a grower's pot inside this new pot and that's why I rated it 4 stars instead of 5. FYI-- the terracotta color on the top of my pot is a light brown hue and not the orange as described and the bottom of the pot is a whitish/gray hue but I'm sure each pot may vary.
