Won't certify you for aviation pilots license
Sure it can cut tin sheets or even a wire. But it won't help you fly a plane and not sure what it has to do with aviation at all.

Great gift for a Dad
Got these Snips for my Dad and he enjoy them, including it easy to hold because of the rubber grips. Highly Recommend!

Nippers & Snippers
I got a chuckle that the product category is "Nippers & Snips", which is close enough to "Nippers & Snippers" to give me a laugh. These things are great. Used them to easily cut through metal roof fascia to mount an antenna mast. Have plans to use them for some additional downspout work and other small jobs. I didn't realize how useful these things would be until I got them. I don't recommend sticking you finger in these, because they _will_ cause permanent damage. But that's usually how you know if you're dealing with quality tools.

I cut everything with this
Well, except metal. But hey, they're probably great at that too. I cut everything with this snips. Freakin' plastic clamshells? Annihilate them. Personally, I think "f*** you," at the clamshell on each individual cut. Other plastics similarly destroyed. Does (do) your sleep partner(s) snore and keep you up? Do your earplugs stick into your brain when you side sleep? Who wulda thunk _aviation snips_ would be there to help you. You figured out you can cut your earplugs in half so they don't skull**** you from both sides, but to cut you were using a chef's knife and really marring your "way too expensive" "also from amazon" "but rated 4.8 stars" "so it must be worth it" "i'm going to cook so much more this year" cutting board. Answer: this snips cuts them with just the slightest resistance, really great grip feel. Are you trying to open one of those special Colorado "medicine candies" that's wrapped individually and so thickly that children (and small adults) can't open it? This snips punctures that you-fun prophylactic like so much latex. Get 'em. I still don't know about metal, but for everything else in life, there's these.

Works
I use it to cut chews for dogs. The C.E.T. HEXtra are tough. Regular scissors don't work and knives are unsafe to use for cutting the chews.

Not for me
I normally use Wiss snips and decided to try these out for the new grips. I work in sheet metal and these snips are horrible. The serrated blades leave visible marks in the metal. They don’t cut smooth at all.

Very durable
I had to use these to cut up an old area rug and they really did a great job. They are durable, sharp and they made the daunting task of cutting carpet so much easier. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Just didn't work
Out of the package these snips bent the metal instead of shearing it. I tightened them, but then the spring wouldn't open them after cutting. Tried adjusting them again, but back to bending instead of cutting.
