Great value

This new blower/vacuum packs the punch I needed to eliminate the constant fallout of leaves on my property. I had burned out a portable blower and was to weak. Very happy with my purchase.

Easy to use

It’s heavy

It is heavy and I wouldn’t want to be holding this longer than :30 however this bad boy blows no pun intended

It can send a shock through you

I noticed when it sucks up small rocks and ricochets inside the unit, it can send a shock wave through your hand. It literally shocks you! Really awful and annoying. I searched reviews and only one other person said she experienced the same issue and returned it as well.

Typical Mastercraft Garbage

Didn't even last one season. Just stopped working while walking around vacuuming dry leaves off my front lawn. No rocks or twigs. Checked for clogs but nothing. Just stopped working and that's the end of it. Complete rip off. Much like the Mastercraft wireless lawn blower and trimmer where battery charger broke after only 1 month. I wouldn't take a Mastercraft product if it was given to me for free. Would be just saving myself a trip to the dump.

An electrifying experience

So firstly I bought a warehouse deals one so keep that in mind. Upon opening it appeared to be in new condition. I was eager to try it out to suck up some yard debris cedar droppings and crispy dried leaves. I set it up and started to suck up things and not to far in I received a shock like a fairly substantial shock. I checked the cord and everything was right and tight thinking it was odd I tried it again. Used it a bit longer and Zapp happens again. I found that when I was holding the handle with a bare hand and the end of the suck tube made contact with the ground I would get a zap and it seemed the better the contact with the ground the bigger the zap. When held by the call the "knob" handles no shocks would happen. Asides from that shocking discovery during my short use. I found that the backpack in practical use is only good if your sucking things up within less than a foot from your shoes I am not tall only about 5'10 and found that it was easier to use with the backpack on the ground. Also suction is really strong when the bag is empty but even a small amount in the bag results in a significant drop in suction. It clogged fairly easily with the cedar droppings but excelled in the dry crispy leaves. Emptying the bag was also awkward as it would be difficult to do without disconnecting from the blower however if you did not hold the hose the mulched debris would start to come out the hose. If it wasn't for the shocking discovery I could see this being a 3 to 4 star product. If all you got is leaves where you can stand a move around freely I would say this format is a pretty good idea however if you need to bob and weave and duck under anything the backpack just gets in the way. I am not shy to a little electrocution however it's not worth it and I am sending it back.

Excelente calidad y relación precio/beneficio

Me gustó que llegó rápido, muy bien empacado el producto y es muy fácil de armar. Mi único comentario es que deberían incluir algún adaptador o alguna opción de quitar la protección redonda de la clavija. Tuve que recorrer algunas tlaparerias para encontrar uno y poder conectar bien el cable. Por los demás, funciona perfecto para mis necesidades.

This POS will literally shock youi

We tried to use the machine to suck up dry leaves. After about a minute of use, my wife got a shock. I tried it, and the same thing happened. I checked the extension cord, the receptacle, and all were good. Apparently Black and Decker, who own Craftsman now, know all about it. I went to Rona, and bought another one, and it did the same thing. At least it went back the same day. It's a problem trying to send back to Amazon, so I'm screwed on this unit. Went out and bought a Makita, and it works perfectly. Oh, don't try to contact B&D. Their mailbox is full - permanently.

Backpack leaf collector works great!

Backpack is a great feature and well designed. Once the bag is full it has a zipper that opens one complete end, thus the leaves fall out into the garbage can easily. Only time will tell if the plastic fan will last.
