Superb
Wanted this item since I lost my previous jacket. Price was right.

Good coat - Amazon not helpful with exchange
This jacket arrived as described. I ordered the charcoal color and it appeared to be genuine and well made. Unfortunately I didn’t get to test it. I ordered a size up based on the Amazon suggestion, but when it arrived it was too big and it fit over my normal winter coat with room to spare. When I tried to exchange it, even though it is a product shipped and sold by Amazon, the price changed by more than $30 and Amazon wouldn’t help beyond offering a $10 credit - which would mean I was still going to have to spend $20 more than what I initially spent. Overall, the jacket seems really nice and I’m going to miss not having it probably. But Amazon customer service has been less than good for a while now and this is just another example.

Truly does what it says it does.
I bought this before a week-long trip to England where the weather was rainy every day in the in the low 40s F. This was the only jacket I brought, and I wore it with layers and walked around in the rain A LOT. The jacket was fantastic; I stayed warm and dray with no umbrella. Highly recommended.

Runs large - Otherwise great jacket
Jacket is nice and light. Feels like good quality. No reason to think it won’t be water repellant. Only complaint is that it runs very big. I’m typically borderline L/XL. I ordered the L and it’s huge. Hangs lower than I’d like it, sleeves are too long, and too much room in the midsection. Ideal size would have probably been a M. Other than the loose fit though, feels like a solid choice.

Columbia Men's Watertight Ii Jacket
After buying a few different rain jackets even others Columbia I started thinking... It's any out there that water stays out? after spending $60 and $80 on others rain jackets I found this one and finally water stays out. Keeps me dry and not just sprinkling rain, under real rain.

edit up: I bought another on for my partner. They are that good.
First off, i read all the reviews and took to heart that some said this jacket runs small, so i simply ordered a size larger. I am glad I did, as this allows me to layer up reasonably well underneath it. I am a letter carrier, and I walk 80% of my route out in the elements. Today (3/1/16) was the first consistently rainy day that I could test this jacket out, and it worked exactly as I hoped it would. I stayed completely dry all day long. I have used many of the various rain jackets made available to us as letter carriers over the years, and this by far bests them all. It is lighter than gortex and imo breaths much better, and performed just as well considering it kept me dry all day!!! The only mistake I made, was not wearing any rain pants with it, because water just rolls off this jacket, and wound up on my legs (doh! my mistake) I will be buying another one of these to keep in my truck. If i intended this for a summer weight only rain jacket, the fit would be fine, but i was looking for an alternative to the standard rain jackets the USPS offers us, which cost over 2x as much. So i ordered a size up knowing id want to layer up underneath it. Bottom line, this a wonderful rain jacket, that does pack away in the stash pocket very well, in a small enough size to keep around anywhere.

So far so good (waterproof)
So far so good. I've been on a few walks in light rain and the jacket has kept me dry. This is more of a shell than a full jacket. I wore a fall/spring jacket underneath for warmth as it's been in the 40s lately. In the spring the 2nd layer may not be necessary. Seems like decent quality for the price. Would buy it again.

El material se siente muy bien. Tienen razón los demás comentarios en que a diferencia de otros impermeables , éste no te hace sentir mucho calor. Lo recomiendo bastante y también hay que tener en cuenta la talla ya que sí viene algo grande. Yo normalmente soy XL pero me pedí G y me quedó muy bien (claro, esto dependerá de la complexión de cada uno) . Tiene bastante calidad tanto en cierres como en construcción y no pasa nada de agua. Realmente es una buena inversión de dinero por el producto y la marca .
