Falling apart and scuff easily

I ordered these shoes a few months ago and the stitching started coming undone almost immediately. I thought it was just a loose string until yesterday when I noticed part of the shoe was coming lose. They also scuff easier than expected - but that could be how I walk. I figured them being Clarks they would last a while, but it looks like I'll need to get a new pair of shoes soon.

Bien, lo compré medio size más grande llevándome de las reseñas

Lo compré medio size más grande que mi size normal, llevándome de las otras reseñas y funcionó porque debo usar los zapatos con plantillas ortopédicas. Aunque si solamente tienes el pie ancho la mejor opción creo que sería escoger tu size con la opción Wide.

PT recommend, but not near wide enough to fit brace AND my foot.

I wear leg braces and Clark shoes were highly recommend by my Physical Therapist. He said these shoes are well made. I attest that they are! However due to my braces (designed to support my ankles) I cannot fit them in the shoe. I need wide width shoes. This shoe did not come in wide width. But I thought I'd try given my PTs comments about Clarke shoes. I can only wear laced ( shoe strings) or velcro. In the past I could only get men shoes, truly. I'm guessing I'm back to men shoes. I I really wish I could wear women shoes. I need wider at toes and over widths. Women shoes just doesn't do it anymore. I normally wear, without brace, size 7.5-8. I now wear size 9-10 men's shoes. Women's were over size 12 as I couldn't get my new braces in a size 12 which is 4-5.5 sizes too big. This creates a real danger to wear. Trip over the tips of shoes that have not feet to toes - empty space. Some may say, lift your foot up. Believe me if I could, I would. I just wish makers understood I'm not the only person who wears leg braces. The disabled know they will never again be able to wear women's dress shoes, never again wear sanders. Now I'm regulated to never again look nice when I go out. Shoes that do not match, go along with your clothing. Wear a nice dress with men's work shoes!

Quality shoes. Not comfortable for wider feet.

I have wide feet. Not terribly wide--I often fit comfortably in a regular size 7.5 or, depending on the company, 8--but definitely not narrow. I knew this when I bought these and I did read at least one review that mentioned the shoe might be tight, but with a Size 8 I figured I should be good. The length is OK, but the width around the toe box is really too narrow for me. It squishes my toes together. I wear pretty thin, no-show socks, and this shoe is so tight in that area I had imprints from the polka-dot pattern on those socks after trying the shoe on and wearing it lightly around my home. I want to give the shoe more time, in case it becomes more comfortable once worn in more, but it's a tricky business, risking wearing shoes in. For almost $70, I'd rather just invest in a shoe that doesn't hurt for a week or two before it hurts less. The top back of the shoe does still scrape against my ankle, too: I had to wear band-aids to protect my skin. Yeesh. It's too bad, because I do find the shoes really cute. Sort of a boyish or androgynous Oxford style. I love wearing this kind of shoe with skinny pants. For me, this particular cut doesn't look as great with skirts as do other Oxfords I've had in the past. And so continues my quest to find cute, everyday Oxfords that don't mean sacrificing comfort and support.

High quality shoes

This is a a very high quality shoe, both in its design and execution. Super soft and comfortable, didn't require any breaking. My feet are more on a wider side and I ordered a B width - they fit perfectly (my feet are very delicate, hence I can not break the shoe, I need it to fit from the get go). I would buy it again in nubuck but in different colour. They look very flattering on the feet. Good investment.

Disappointed

Nice looking shoes. Fit small. I bought a size 10 as I usually do to fit my orthotics. There was no room for the orthotics and the shoes were a little snug on my feet. Within the first hour and a half, the shoes cut into my ankle. I haven't worn them since. A waste of hard-earned money.

perfect fit although heel at back abit hard and catching my ankle which is unusual for Clark’s hopefully they will wear in ok . Excellent price from amazon.
