Good baseballs, feel normal in your hand and not too “slick” or waxy like the cheap ones feel

Seem like quality baseballs
Well, they're baseballs, and they seem very nice -- pretty much identical to any other good quality baseball. My thoughts on Champro's list of their attributes: (1) College Practice Ball: "College practices and high school games"? I'm not clear on what that distinction would be. I think if you snuck one into a college game, or a high school practice, or a Little League game, or whatever else, it would work just fine. (2) Durable leather cover: I note that these say "full grade leather cover," while some other brands say "top grade leather cover." I can tell no difference. (3) Core: I'm sure it's fine. (4) Raised seams: Here I have some input: I would say these seams are kind of in the middle between a flat seam and a pronounced raised seam -- and I personally like that midrange, where there's plenty of seam to grip, but not so much as to be irritating. Of course, pitchers I'm sure have their own preferences. Anyway, it's a mildly raised seam. (5) Moisture-resistant: I dunked one of them, and it did hold out the water quite well. But importantly, they still have a nice hand feel, not overly slick. So, good feel plus moisture resistant cover is good. I gave several of these to my neighbor (kid) to pitch and hit into his net, and he gives them a thumbs up. And one final point, each ball comes individually wrapped in plastic; normally I object to wasted plastic packaging, but in the case of baseballs, sometimes you need to be able to quickly find a brand new ball and it's kind of nice to spot one that's wrapped so you know it's new. So I can't say how they'll hold up over time, but so far there's nothing to find fault with.

Nice Quality
I have been coaching youth baseball for many years, so I have gone through dozens and dozens of practice and game balls from pretty much any manufacturer that you have heard of. While these are marketed as being for college practices and high school games, from a quality perspective they are very comparable to the "competition grade" baseballs targeted at various youth baseball organizations. From a price perspective, they also sell for similar prices. I have been using this set as practice balls for about 6 weeks for a team that I'm coaching and they are holding up very well. The leather has a nice feel while still being durable. Given the price point, I'm very happy with initial quality and durability. These are on par with competition grade balls that I have used from Rawlings and Diamond.

Feels great
This is the real deal. Modern baseballs feel waxy or like plastic. They slip from your hand and start look beat up after one practice. Not these. Ok, they don't look new after a roll in the dirt. But they don't look smacked around either. The texture is just right, and the quality is top notch. These are not balls you want to lose, but then again they are balls you want to play with. When teaching a child to pitch the last thing you want to do is give them a cheap ball that slips out of the hand to easy. These are a great set of balls and the standard. Excellent for you or as a gift to anyone into playing some ball.

Need a good value set of baseballs?
The Good: -Durable -Great feel on cover -Seams are well stitched -Good value The Bad: -None The Bottom Line: We just used these Champro baseballs for batting practice and they held up well. They have great feel for pitchers and the seams are stitched well. Overall, I would recommend these Champro baseballs for their performance and value.
