QC issues with first unit, excellent client support, replacement unit still strong after two years.
Edited for further update 6/10/2019: We purchased this product through Amazon on April 10, 2019. It lasted until the end of May 2019 before catastrophic failure. We have been in contact with the manufacturers customer support and I will update as to how that process goes. Update #2 6/11/2019 After contacting customer support through both the website and telephone number provided on my Amazon.com past orders page I was asked to send photographs of the product for their evaluation. Approximately 24 hours later I received an email simply asking for my shipping details so that they could send me a replacement unit. I will provide a further update once the replacement is received and assembled, and consider changing my star review to reflect the prompt customer service response. Update #3 6/14/2019 The replacement unit arrived on 6/12/2019, exactly one day after hearing from customer service that they would replace my first unit. They did not ask me to send back the original, I may try to see if I can have it welded back together as it would be a shame to send it to the junk yard. The pipes which the new unit was constructed from were clearly different than those of my first unit. It did not exhibit any of the QC issues that made assembling the first unit very difficult, with all the pieces fitting together easily, albeit with a little bit of play. (Note: I would rather have a little play than have to modify to assemble.) All in assembly took about 20 minutes with the help of my 8 year old. I am going to modify my rating to 3 stars (from 1) to reflect the responsive customer service experience and the quality of the second unit, but also keeping in consideration the experience with my first unit and the inconvenience caused by having to replace it so quickly. I also note that reading through other reviews, the failure witnessed in my first unit does not appear to be uncommon, and I was fortunate enough to have mine fail within the 90 day warrantee period. Update #4 5/10/2021 Almost two years in, and after significant use last spring and summer, continues to perform very well. Stored outdoors last two winters and still holding up very well. Has been knocked over by wind multiple times and all of the welds have held. I am updating review to reflect excellent customer service response and performance of the replacement unit. I will update if required. ---- We purchased the product for our two children, ages 8 and 7, who are beginning to play lacrosse. Our decision was made based upon what appeared to be largely positive reviews and the attractive price point. Upon delivery the product appeared to be well manufactured and of good quality. Packaging includes simple but effective instructions and all the tools required to assemble (although if you have a decent tool box you will want to use your own). However, when we began to assemble the rebounder it became apparent that there were some quality control issues with the tolerances of the pipes not lining up and requiring some work to assemble. Once assembled the rebounder worked well for about a month. While it does not rebound as sharply as other more expensive units, it does return the ball at adequate speed. It is difficult to setup for more direct returns due to the inherent slope of the net in the highest position, but it was more than adequate for our children's purposes. Then one evening in late May (after about 40 days of ownership) we had some wind one evening which knocked the rebounder over face first (it is not very stable in its most upright setting), and it became very clear that the quality control issues we witnessed during assembly also pertain to the quality of the welding of the main frame. The frame that surrounds the trampoline rebounding net / surface broke on each side at the weld points holding the top and bottom halves together. The rebounder is now completely useless. You can now see, from the photos, how quickly the unit began to rust, raising further concerns over the longevity of the product. It has been stored outdoors in the Northeast US since delivery and assembly in mid April, so this shows less than two months life in normal (albeit rainy) conditions.

Excellent replacement!
We needed to update our bouce back that had lost its bounce. It was an older STX version. With 2 people, we were able to put the new cover on in 10 min. Works perfectly!

Excellent Replacement!
My daughter got into lacrosse during the pandemic and we found a used rebounder for super cheap. It was already two years old but in decent shape. My daughter then became obsessed with lacrosse and used the rebounder through the winter outside in Chicago. So, the mat started ripping. We initially bought trampoline patches to help but for the cost it was not worth it. This replacement mat went on sale and is perfect! The rebounder looks brand new.

Perfect replacement for STX Bounce Back
Was gifted a STX bounce back that had been outside for over a decade. This was a perfect fit to replace the weather mat. Easy to install with the provided hook tool.

Good fabric, poor springs
The fabric of this replacement rebounder is very good and was a perfect fit. However, the springs were poor and stretched while installing it to the frame. They did not return to their original size, so you could say the springs weren't springy at all! We used the original coils that were much better material, so don't throw away those old springs.

Good product, horrible service
So here's a great example of wishing you could split reviews between performance and support. The product itself seems to work well as it's intended to. If you hit it with the lacrosse ball, the ball will bounce back to you. If you hit the sweet spot it will come back even better. It's easily adjustable. The materials seem solid and assembly was fairly easy, though more on that in a minute. I can't comment on how it will hold up to rain, cold, heat, etc as I just purchased it. Now the reason for the two star review. I opened the package and slid the contents out onto my back porch and I could see right away that many of the springs weren't attached to the frame and/or netting. I turned the box on its head and two springs fell out. It took an additional minute to realize that I was missing three springs completely. They weren't attached to the frame or material, they weren't caught up in the back, they weren't in any of the boxes, and they hadn't fallen out when I removed the unit. The unit actually arrived in a box within a larger box, and there were multiple holes from transit in the boxes. It didn't take much to see that three of the springs had fallen out of the box(es) in transit. About half of them were hanging loosely from the frame (because they don't get pulled taut until you unfold the bounce back). So I did what one would do with *any* product that's missing parts, I called the manufacturer, Champion Sports. Their instructions have an address at the bottom but no phone number so I Googled them and found their number on their website. I reached customer service quickly, nicely explained the issue, and requested that they send me the missing springs. He told me that they receive the units already boxed from the manufacturer (in China) and they they don't have individual parts to send customers if something is missing or something fails. I asked what would happen if a bounce back broke, or things rusted over time...would that mean they'd just have to buy an entire new one? The answer was yes. He told me I would need to contact Amazon to see about replacement parts (which of course they wouldn't have) and he acknowledged that I would probably need to send the entire thing back if I wanted replacement springs. Sorry, but that's ridiculous. I solved my problem by running to Lowes and buying three springs of similar tension and size. So I spent an extra $5. All told was it a huge issue? Not really. But it could have been if it was more than just the springs. Who makes a product like that and doesn't offer replacement parts? Champion Sports apparently. ALSO: I had to reattach most of the springs before assembling the unit. I own a spring-puller so it wasn't a big deal, but for some people this could be annoying.

Not an easy install
The tool is the worst, the hook is to long and doesn't allow the installer to pull the spring through the rebounder d-ring to hook the spring to it. A cheap and weak weld to the handle allows the 1/8" rod to bend very easily and almost broke after the first couple of springs. You'd think with that type spring tension that the rebounder net would be tight and taught, that's not the case. I pulled one of springs so hard that it stretched it out, and I'm not the biggest or strongest guy out there.

very well built and works as we hoped
Pricey, but you get what you pay for. Kids use it all the time and I can tell it will work fine for years and years. Probably outlive our need for it.
