Great moisturizer with spf for someone who wants a minimal routine

Ought this after a derm doc recommended. Very light and breathable or my sensitive skin.

SPF makes it unpleasant

The high SPF factor in this cream makes it slightly unusable. SPF 30 is far too high for a heavy nourishing cream. I was worried about this but bought this version to try on a whim with summer approaching down here in hell’s armpit. Unfortunately, I can’t use it under any other conditions other than when I am planning on spending hours out in full sun. It’s pasty, talc-y, and metallic-y. It does not spread or soak in very well, and worst of all it doesn’t feel like it actually moisturizes at all. If you are in the habit of putting factor 50 Banana Boat on your face as a moisturizer - I guess - but otherwise…nope.

Love the white tint

This worked fine, nothing ground breaking. It does seem to be lightening my dark spots slowwwwwwwly but still…any help in that area is welcome. One complaint is that it leaves white specks randomly on my face and in my hairline which do not wipe off easily, either need to be scratched off with my fingernail or scrubbed off with a wet rag and since they show up after the lotion has dried it’s not something that can be avoided. A reapplication is needed for those spots. They look like tiny paint specks and must be cleaned similarly. The other issue I have is it makes my eyes burn and tear for a few minutes after application. I’ve made an effort to keep it away from my eyes but I need it under my eyes so it’s kind of hard to avoid the issue. Once it’s soaked in, that problem dissipates so I’ve just learned to not put in my contacts or start my eyeliner until this has passed. I’ve used other Cetaphil moisturizers without this problem so either it’s the SPF used or the white tint that I love so much, who knows. I’m probably gonna buy it again because once I turned 40 my tiny freckles melted into freckle blobs that I hate and this does seem to make a bit of a difference with them. Beauty is pain, right?

Container is too large

The product is nice, but I will not order again due to the oversized container, which is made to make the consumer think they are getting more for their money.
