Very comfy

Slightly smaller than what I thought had excess space on my duvet but its easy to overlook. It’s very comfy that’s for sure and the material is very good.

I absolutely love this comforter! It is great for all seasons and so comfortable! Love the gray color, but I do recommend sizing up.

Down alternating comforter

I bought it thinking it would keep me warmer. But I live in Minnesota very cold state for half the year. Not disappointed but I should have known I need down. It’s a very nice comforter for the money. Would recommend if you don’t live in Minnesota or Alaska possibly any state below zero temps

SIZE up uP UP, trust me!

** We purchased a KING for a TWIN bed, and it works perfectly. ** The comforter itself is very soft, warm, and comfortable. It drapes nicely over the mattress, and covers the frame just well enough so that the stuff that we've stored away under the frame aren't an eyesore. Do keep in mind, though, that our frame and mattress are backed into a corner, so we are able to pull the exposed sides down a bit more, while the sides against the walls aren't draped to the ground. A good buy if you don't want a lot of heat

I had originally purchased the Chezmoi down alternative comforter. I decided to get this one as the color was a better match for my room. The Chezmoi was much heavier/thicker and warmer. This one is light and airy. Being I live in CA, this one works better for me. Quality-wise, I think they are about equal. Both washed well and held their shape. Both had a lot of stray threads you need to cut (and then wonder if it will unravel). So far, I've had the Chezmoi for over a year and its held up well. The Cathay I've only had for a couple months, but I'm happy so far - especially for the price.

I love this snuggly comforter!

I recently bought this comforter (navy blue, King size). The first thing I did was wash and dry it. It came out great! It is the most comfortable and snuggly comforter I've ever had. I is just thick enough to feel covered, but also light weight. So far it has kept its shape well, and I tend to bunch it up around my head when I sleep. I would probably pay a lot more for this if I knew how nice was. I've read the mixed reviews but obviously have not had the problems that others have reported. The only thing I would say is that I bought a larger size than my Queen bed because I wanted it to drape over the edges - so I'm glad I bought the King size because it is perfect!

Good for the price

You can't beat this for the price. Terms like light vs. heavy or warm are subjective. I agree that the sizes are too small. I have a queen sized bed and ordered the king size comforter and it fits perfectly. Stitching is a bit sloppy. This is a Summer / all season comforter. It's more than a blanket and has a minimal amount of weight to it. Not too heavy to cause me to sweat. The dark blue color is accurate. I'm happy with it.

Very thin

Very soft. The burgundy colour is darker than shown in the picture but quite nice. It’s a lot thinner than anticipated though. Seems perfect for the warmer seasons but might be too thin for cold winters.

Good value for the money

This is a great comforter for the money. We have been using it for a long time now, have washed it frequently, and it still looks great! The colour does not fade, and it does not come apart! It is very soft.

Best comforter we've owned

Although it feels thin, this comforter is so warm yet cool!! We have owned many comforters in the last 40 years and this is the best one by far! We had one for a year and I ordered this as a second one to put away.

Excellent feel and weight

Excellent feel and weight, the grid pattern is stiched though to both sides so it makes a bunch of separate pockets (or pillows as my wife calls them). Not sure if this is intentional but these pockets prevent the filling from getting all clumped up inside of the blanket making it last much longer before needed to be reworked.
