These lipsticks have really pretty colors

Sometimes a lipstick just works for you and when it does, you order more than one. I have three of these Carter Beauty lipsticks. Two are reds and this one is an orange. This orange is lighter than I wanted it to be but I still like the tone of it. If it were just a bit deeper, I'd be happier. It lasts a long while for me. Of course if I'm eating and wiping with a napkin it's going to come off faster, but for drinking, and regular day-to-day, it stays on my lips for a decent amount of time. It's not drying to my lips and that's a plus--I put it on and forget it and that's what I want. Not greasy or 'slippery.' I don't care for the iniitial waxyish 'taste' of it, but that seems to dissipate quickly. I also don't care for how they say they are an Irish company but clearly the lipsticks are made in PRC (China).

Bit too orange for me

I ordered this in the shade Diana, which comes out a bit more orange then I wanted. It has a very nice feel to it and doesn't dry out my lips. I use it as a base color and then apply another color on top. It does NOT stay on my lips all day, but it does leave a slight tint to my natural coloring which is nice.

Love the shade: Carter Beauty Word Of Mouth Lipstick

Arrived in good condition even though I live in a humid area it was still intact and not melted thank goodness. Love this shade. Not too bold or intimidating. Give your a really friendly smile. Some people have dry eyes, I have dry lips. Although this lipstick is moisturizing, I still have to apply a conditioner with it. Nothing against this brand as I have to use it with even the expensive name brands as well. Love the look and good quality for the price.

Cute Packaging and Gorgeous Rich Color

A beautiful deep red maroon color, exactly as pictured. It is very pigmented and you don't need a lot to get the gorgeous color. The downfall is that it transfers and rubs off very easily. I use a setting powder over it to set it in place to help keep it in place and it does help. It's very matte but not drying at all. The packaging is super cute, probably my favorite of any brand I've used before. The tube is a lovely light pink/purple with a holographic bold font. They stand out wonderfully against my other lipsticks and glosses.

Adele is a really pretty, natural color

Carter Beauty Cosmetics Word of Mouth Velvet Matte Lipstick (Adele) is a really pretty color, it looks more like a natural pink and not overdone. This is good for me because I prefer a more natural color when it comes to lipstick. It stays on decent enough but it is not like other lipstains that will last through anything. Super cheap price though!

Nice color and consistency

This shade was a bit darker than I anticipated but it works well for a dramatic look. The formula stayed on well, but was a bit drying. My skin color is NC25 for reference. I didn’t care for the packaging/the tube. It was a bit flimsy.

Nice color, bit too cakey

I may be a strange breed when it comes to lipstick. I like a lipstick I can feel, but that usually means something with extra moisture or what have you. This one feels cheap, and tends to cake and flake on my lips, which isn't attractive. It has taken some serious lip prep to make this look good. I do like the color, and the pigment is excellent. Perhaps it's meant for prepped lips.

Darker than what they show in the pictures

I ordered this lipstick in the shade "Bey" and the color was deep red and darker than what they show in the pictures so I'm not sure if other shades are accurate in the swatch pictures. The quality is good and the lipstick is very pigmented. It has matte finish but doesn't feel so dry on lips which is nice. It doesn't stay so long as I wanted and as soon as you eat something it's almost gone somehow.
