I got XL... it fits my waist but its extremely long. Do they not sell pants for average height girls who are extra large? These pants are made for tall tall ladies who have bigger waists, because they are giant humans...

Good fit
I bought these for my daughter to wear for a color guard group and they fit perfectly. She finds them to be super comfortable and hates to take them off after the competitions. She's hard to fit, especially in jeans which is what she wears all the time, so I was a little unsure about taking a chance ordering these online. Her jeans range from probably size 5 to size 11, the difficulty being the fit in the thigh and bottom. The stretch in these helps no doubt, but she doesn't look like she's a packaged sausage, nor are they gapping in the waist, which is the goal. She's about 5'4" and the length seems perfect. I have not washed yet, but I air dry most of our pants to be worn outside (ie not bum around sweats or pajamas) anyway. Being a little taller than average I don't like chancing it.

I have several pairs of these Capezio dance pants and they are perfect for the gym and dance class. Extra smalls fit a petite person perfectly.
