To describe the fit of this shoe for me I would say that they were a bit tight at the toe. I have another pair of these shoes and they fit perfectly from the start. So, my 'somewhat narrow' rating is for the ball of the foot and I would say, if I could, they were just a bit tight. The length of the shoe is as it should be. I like them!

I found the sizing to be as expected since I read reviews and ordered a 40 (I'm normally more of a 39 - 39.5). Campers are cute, but at the end of the day most of them do not have support and are actually not really good for you shoes. This pair is an example- zero arch support, and the footbed is not at all molded and not particularly comfortable. I might have still considered keeping them, except that there is stitching (if you zoom maybe you can see it) about 1-2 milimeters in from the edges of the shoes where the part of the shoe that contacts your foot is sewn to the rest of the shoe which is very irritating just walking from the living room to the bedroom where my mirror is to see them. So these are going back to the store. I had hoped campers would be a good compromise between cuteness and comfort/"healthiness" but at the end of the day, they have the aesthetics but lack comfort or other good qualities. I got a pair of Taos sandals (another Spanish shoemaker) that have excellent cork footbeds, support, are comfortable, fit well, and also are just about as cute.

This is my fifth pair of Camper micro sandals -- I walk a *lot*, and these provide excellent support, are lightweight and reasonably attractive. The red were a gamble for me as I normally go neutral (tan, black, navy, green -- which are close to gray) -- but were a pleasantly subdued color. In my experience, the suede shoes fit and wear better than the regular leather (my tan micros have several scrapes after a summer of hard wear). They all also have slightly different fits despite being the same size. I have owned several other types of Camper shoes that I've found stiff or abrasive and these are not.

Versatile, supportive, AND cool??
Comfortable and stylish! I followed advice in other reviews and went a full size up (I normally wear a 7.5 or 8, so a US size 9 was a size 39). They're a teeeeeensy bit big, but an 8 would have been way too small, and they don't slip or rub when I walk. I love the velcro - they're easy to put on and take off, but the velcro is hidden so you don't look like you're wearing little kids' shoes.

Returned Them
They are cute. Made of leather, but the strap that goes from the heel across your instep is too small. I wanted to like them, but I just couldn't wear them. Sorry.

Lovely summer shoes
These shoes are very comfortable and look really good and they are very well made as you would expect of Camper. The wedge is supportive and gives you a little extra height and cushioning when walking. I returned them only because I have odd sized feet and have trouble finding shoes!

Pro: -la consegna è stata puntuale - esteticamente i sandali sono come da foto - I materiali sembrano buoni -Il prezzo, per scarpe di questa azienda, è conveniente. Contro: - dentro la scatola le scarpe sembravano buttate dentro, con un foglio di carta velina che le copriva, un salva laccetto in cartone montato e l'altro no, e niente altro - I laccetti sono estremamente corti e tutto il sandalo risulta abbastanza stretto (non ho piede grosso né pianta larga) - La parte del tallone presenta una sorta di piccolo "scalino" tra la pianta e il bordo della scarpa ( proprio del modello, un po' si può vedere facendo zoom sulle foto) e questo, unito al fatto che la pianta è stretta, rende l'appoggio scomodo. In sostanza: le tengo perché per motivi vari sarebbe stata una seccatura restituirle ma onestamente non mi sembravano neanche Camper da quanto sono scomode. Per il momento ho ovviato inserendo un cuscinetto tipo Compeed sotto il tallone e spero che indossandole si allarghino un po'. Le porterò appena possibile dal calzolaio per fare allungare il cinturino e mettere qualcosa di permanente al tallone. Un'esperienza che non ripeterei.
