Excellent,,,,,,, with caveats
There is GOOD here and bad. Let's get the good done. For RV use, this thing has been clutch multiple times, and has in my opinion paid for itself. The entire idea behind this is a factory made cobble job. Does it work perfectly? No, not by a long shot. But for a makeshift cobble job solution, it's working as intended. Everyone needs to understand. This isn't a product designed by NASA to work on Venus. But if this thing saves the day even once, you'll be glad you had it. It's come in to save the day many times for me and frankly I smile every time I need to pull it out. Would I recommend? Yes a thousand times. Every RVer needs one of these and is missing out if they don't. Now the bad. Technically speaking, this thing is a pile of crap. The number of ways it will fail on you is a bit staggering. Therefore, it requires some ingenuity and brain power on the user end. Remember, this is a cobble job, and it's going to need babysitting, customization and patience. If you play the game, you will be rewarded. If you're expecting this thing to "simply work ", you're going to be very disappointed. Two tips for use. Have zip ties, dykez and some hose clamps handy. The hose clamps with butterfly keys are excellent. Trust me, you'll need these. Also, if the park has high pressure, this thing will expand like a balloon and explode. So you will have to moderate the flow. Last bit of advice. These things only have so many uses in them. You won't need to use it all the time so plan on a season or two before it craps the bed. Buy these two at a time so when one fails (and it will) you won't be caught flat footed. Buy another replacement ASAP. You always want two on hand. So Buy two and prosper.

Some common sense turns this one into five stars
Seeing a one-star rating that comprises 17% of the feedback, makes me reluctant to purchase. After reading many of those reviews, I did so anyway. There's no magic here, two people are needed to use it, or the device will certainly pop off the faucet under pressure. Use a towel to contain any leakage at the faucet, and likely one at the other end also. In my experience, the thing does exactly what it's supposed to. Glad I bought it.

Works for my low-psi flow. Pricey

Works
It worked, but it overpressured my sink, so I didn't use it long.

Will rip open if you apply pressure!
This product is fine if you use it EXACTLY as the instructions indicate. But it's a pain in the rear to do so. Do NOT add a hose clamp to this to hold it on the faucet and apply water pressure by having your hose end not open! IT WILL RIP OPEN and spray water all over the room!!! Don't ask me how I know.... If you're OK with walking back and forth to the faucet to turn it on and off every 5 seconds then great but if you need to stop water flow at the hose end this will shoot off the faucet, dropping it to the floor and causing a mess. THAT'S what caused me to put a hose clamp on it at the faucet. Then I turned on the water, walked to the end of the hose where the water was coming out, shut off the water with the hose nozzle an BLAMMO, ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE! The boot split and was shooting water in countless directions and making a huge mess! No matter what Ibdid with this, it caused me to clean up water every flipping time! Wish I never bought this! I basically hate this thing. It's useless for what I needed and I bought something else that screws onto any faucet and let's me turn on the water and then operate the hose end nozzle on and off as needed like using a regular hose. This thing has a very narrow use case scenario list....of which, nothing normal people do with a hose is on it.

Good Value
These are great… but to make it work better add a hose clamp to keep them on the faucet… it really should ship with a clamp…

As described, can't wait to use it.
Looking forward to using this item. From looking at it, I think it will work fine. I believe that if there is too much water pressure, it might get push off the spigot. I think this could easily be solved by manually holding the item. I am going to rig a hose clamp to it. Either way, it will be easier to fill my tank with this compared to carrying a tank.

This solved all my problems!!
I have a unique water faucet and have spent a fortune trying to find something that fits. This one does and is a game-changer!

Useful for outside taps , when it needs to be attached permanent
Easy to attach but better for outside tap, so it can be held firmly and permanently on with a clip

The brass part is not attached and is just held ...
The brass part is not attached and is just held in the rubber hole by tension. This device cannot handle very much water pressure. Too much pressure and either the cut hose or faucet will pop out of the larger end or the brass insert will pop out. That said, what else are you supposed to do at a dump station when all they give you is a severed hose for your black flush? I stuck this device on there, then connected my hose to the black flush. As long as I didn't open the water valve all the way, the pressure was low enough that this held together and it got the job done. Will also be handy when I want to gravity fill my fresh water tank with my 6 gal jugs that have short spouts on them. I will probably buy another; one for fresh and one for flush.

If it goes over your tap, it will work fairly well.
This does not fit over the end of my bathroom faucet, however, I was still able to make it work. I attached the hose to the end of it and then held the water bandit up tight to my faucet and it kept a pretty good seal as long as you continued to hold it. Since I was only filling my portable washer, which was close up to the bathroom sink, I was able to use the water bandit to successfully fill the washer, even though I had to hold onto the bandit with one hand. It was faster than filling my washer with pails of water, which was what I was doing before.
