My go to lip crayon
The color was perfect against my tanned skin tone and the crayon was moisturizing. Yes, you may need to reapply a bit during the day after eating, but this was never advertised as a lip stain. I’m thrilled with this purchase and will probably snag a few more!

Arrived broken
Arrived broken ???? But I opened it anyway and try it. On my pinkish lips the color looks pink, not the color that I was looking for.

Drying
The color of this lipstick is very neutral which I like because this color is sometimes too orangey, and though it feels smooth when applying, it eventually becomes very drying for my 75 year old lips. I would have liked this color better with my young, natural hair color, but now that my hair is a blonde-grey, I much prefer the pink lagoon shade--my skin tone is a neutral color. I usually must apply a lip balm over these lip gloss lipsticks.

Color EXTREMELY bright cool red
I was beyond excited to try this because I thought the color shown on the lips photograph was perfect. Much to my dismay, it's VERY VERY BRIGHT COOL RED. Nothing close to the photo....I can't imagine a time I could use it except for a costume.

I would love it since I FINALLY found a color that works for me, except it arrived broken. The tip is broken off and it can't be applied. I tried it just once to see what the color was like, and the color was perfect, but applying it was a total no go! So, I guess I have to return it and try again. It is silky on your lips. The color is gorgeous, a pretty lush coral. It has a slight sheen. You do have to reapply it occasionally. I found it came off onto my teacup. But it would be easy to reapply if its point were intact. Perhaps if it had been packed in bubble wrap instead of sliding around loose in the box it was in might have made a difference. Or maybe the cold weather is doing it. Though the other color I had tried didn't break. That one was packaged differently, I think.

WOW -very impressed compared to another brand
This lip crayon from Burt's Bees is full of moisturizer for the lips and color. I bought both the Pink Lagoon and the Tahitian Sunset. Pink Lagoon is a strong pink that I really like. Tahitian Sunset is a dark strong deep pink / plum color on me. (My skin color is a medium beige.) Both give my lips color and seems to last so much longer compared to another brand that I bought a couple of months ago on that brand's website. Amazon also has it on their website. The other brand costs $26 and it was a disappointment. Although the expensive brand does moisturize and has color, it lasted on my lips about an hour for me. I was very impressed with Burt's Bees after trying the expensive brand. Burt's Bees is a much better buy and lasts a lot longer on the lips

not what I expected but still very good
It's not a 'gloss'... it's a bit of satin sheen, as others are saying, which I was disappointed with at first, but now looking at it in the sunlight after a second try, it gives a nice natural "dewy" look instead of an artificial gloss. It's a nice natural look. It covers adequately. I have very very naturally raspberry-pink lips, which I don't like, so I am always looking for something that's a nude/taupe with some brown to neutralize the pink. This takes away the darkest of my natural lip color, but still leaves it a pale shell pink, which I don't mind too much. I have fair skin and it doesn't come out the same color as the example pics on a fair-skinned person, but I understand it can't be universal because everyone's got their own coloring. Overall I am pleased.

Great shade, texture and feel!
I am really pleased with these natural lip gloss and especially like this nude shade...it's moisturising and leaves a definite sheen of colour like a lipstick on your lips. I'm very fussy about what I put on my skin and like the burts bees concept. I wear this lip gloss all the time, it lasts reasonably well but I don't care if I use it all up as I will be buying more! It doesnt feel like I'm wearing heavy lipstick or leave funny taste in my mouth/throat. I have sadona sands shade of this also and thats a nice pink shade. Thanks amazon for having this on subscribe & save...I would highly recommend this product.

Odd texture and bad colour
Outback Oasis is a disappointing shade. I found it quite difficult to apply and required a lot of applying to get any coverage at all. The colour looks skin-toned or like you just lightly smeared foundation on your lips. Perhaps people had more success with the other colours. I didn't find the product glossy either. Wouldn't bother trying the other shades.

Zero staying power
The Pacific Coast colour is lovely, but it just sits on my lips like a slippery oil layer. Which means the colour is moved around and displaced even by gently moving my lips across each other. The matt Redwood Forest version is so much better and behaves more like a lipstick.

Came half broken
I tried to contact the seller but the number would not got through and the website was no help either. Very difficult. I am not impressed. The shade is too light and it cane half broken. How can i keep it when on first use its about to fall apart ☹️

Love Burts Bees!
Super product from Burts Bees. Kind to my lips and to the environment. The colour Pink Lagoon is pale frosted pink. Easy to use and quick to apply on the go. Keep in my coat pocket so I've always got it.
