My 24th Bucilla felt stocking kit. This one is so cute that I can't to work on it.

Labor intensive

This kit has a cute design. Just be ready to spend numerous hours to cut numbered pieces, sequin/bead, appliqué, add polyfill to “stuff” and assemble. There was a shortage of sequins, which the company sent additionally ones quickly, also some irregular and unusable beads.

These are pretty and easy to put together but take a lot of time and skill.

I've done a couple of these and they may be stressful for beginners but, if you have time and patience they are worth it, they are beautiful and timeless. I have one from when I was a child so they hold up excellently (I'm no spring chicken) that I'm sure I'll make some for the grand kids too. It's a great productive way to spend time and energy as well as using that hand eye coordination and instruction following skills. The pictures don't do the finished product justice.

It’s a quality kit worth the time it takes to complete

This is a beautifully designed stocking. It’s coming along just fine although it’s taking longer than expected to complete. Deadline is nearing and I don’t think I can complete it before granddaughter’s first Christmas. Which is fine, it’ll be a lovely stocking for next year! Highly recommend any of their patterns. My daughter has hers from 35 years ago and still cherishes it

Looking good but OH the white thread

Working on this now, everything is looking good. The only problem I am running into is the white thread has broken on me in the middle of sewing. Not sure if it got too bleached or what but it’s a pain.

Love the stocking and loook forward to working on it.

I have made several Bucilla stockings and I'm looking forward to putting the pieces together to complete 'Santa's Sleigh'. It's a gift for a little girl who is one of a set of twins - her brother's Bucilla 'Santa's Surprises' is almost finished. Working on the stockings has been good therapy for me while staying home during the pandemic.

Heirloom items

This is a brilliant product all the pieces are stamped onto the felt, there is plenty of thread, beads and sequins and the instructions are easy to follow.

Easy to follow directions.

I found the quality of the sequins has changed and they are not all the same from colour to colour. Also the embroidery thread tangles and knots easily when working with it.
