Are they really percale?

I love the old time percale. They are around 230 thread count and are smooth to the touch. I think these are muslin. They washed up ok, fit my king sized bed, stay on the corners and are pretty. They will do but just not what I had in mind.

If you like crisp cotton and regular pockets

After a year plus, these are still my favorite sheets! I am actually on here to get a second set because I get sad when I have to rotate these out. I bought them on sale, so had low expectations. They blew away generic sets from box stores like Target. I really hate "modern" microfiber sheets. Once in a while you find a good set, but typically they are slippery or clingy or thin. It's also hard to find regular-depth sheets. Everything has deep pockets which, no matter what they say, do NOT fit many smaller mattresses. These do! They go on my 5"-6" (memory foam with topper) perfectly. They stay taut but with enough give for comfortable sleeping. They go through the laundry on warm with everything else and a super-hot dryer with no damage to the elastic. So - if you like crisp percale cotton and don't have a monster thick mattress, go for it!
