Original Boppy for breastfeeding Mom

It’s nice and firm so I know it’s going to last for the time I need it to. The only downside is that the hole in the center is small and I’m an xl in size. I just wish they made another size

Okay my first one my husband ended up using for sleeping. Haha. So I got another one not for nursing but just to help prop her up when I’m plain holding her. She’s heavy and this pillow helps

Doesn't make sense as a nursing pillow

It's not clear to me how this pillow can help with breastfeeding. It doesn't stay in place, and the baby will most likely fall off. I ordered this and the "my brest friend" nursing pillow. I decided to return this and keep the other.

Not Wide Enough for Bigger (Wider) Mama's

The cushion itself is great, however, as someone who has wider hips and (especially post partum) a bit of a belly, i found the pillow did not wrap around my body. I frequently had to adjust and re position the pillow as it would slide away causing my LO to slip down between. It served as a great cushion to sit on when first out of the hospital but other than that, i found myself disappointed with the pillow. Edit to add that the pillow became much more useful at 3 months + when my babg began doing tummy time or whenever she would be laying to play at her activity gym. She had reflux so we needed something that would prop her up. My initial review was 3 star but ill give it one more for how versatile and useful it was for my little one throughout the different stages.

A good nursing pillow

I bought it before my baby was born. When my baby was very small, this pillow supported her body very well. I didn’t need to use my hands to hold her very often, and it saved me a lot of energy. However, when she was three months old and her body got bigger, I stopped using it.

Hands free breastfeeding

Mom of two c section- breastfed baby here, this is one of the best things that I got for myself and really worth the money. Not gonna lie, first few days I wasn’t very impressed with it considering the pain that I had and I couldn’t sit properly, then I gave it another shot, and it was perfect. You can breastfeed the baby in so many positions with this pillow. I use it for so many other things as well, i hold the baby while sitting on this pillow to burp her, I use it for tummy time, and now that she is 4 months old I use it for support when she is sitting.

Haven't used it much since the first few times

This is a good nursing pillow. However, I find it hard to secure around my waist during breastfeeding and have to readjust. The opening should be a little wider for a more comfy fit. Edit: so i am editing my review after breastfeeding my baby for over a year now. Haven't really used this pillow much tbh because it got uncomfortable after the first few tries. Baby was in an awkward position on this. The pillow is too snug around the waist and keeps requiring adjustment. Baby didn't take to it for tummy time or sitting either so this was a waste of money for us. I still use a regular pillow for breastfeeding. So if you have a pillow in your home, save yourself some money and use the pillow you already have.
