Crossbow nocks & inserts
I'm using this on my Zombie Slayer bolts to hold the nocks and inserts in place. Since the nocks are plastic, the easiest way to use this is melt a little in a metal bowl. I cut a chunk off and used a metal measuring spoon. Then, heat up the spoon with a heat gun until it turns into liquid. Last, just dip the end of the nock in and quickly set it into the end of the bolt. I have to do this to keep the Alpha nocks in place. Holds both nocks and inserts tight, but gives you the ability to remove them later more easily than using epoxy.

Works night and day better than the yellow bohning hot melt.
Second time trying hot melt. First time I used the yellow bohning flex tite and all the inserts pulled out. I redid half a dozen arrows using this hot melt glue. Shafts and inserts were cleaned and prepped properly with denatured alcohol. Glue was heated up using a torch and applied generously to insert, which was then put over heat to make the glue fluid. Held insert with a pair of pliers and inserted into shaft with screwing motion to evenly distribute the glue. Plunged tip of arrow with freshly installed insert into glass of cool water. Removed excess glue after it cooled. Every single insert has stayed firmly in the shaft. Good stuff.

Does not work
I installed a dozen titanium inserts with a liberal amount of this product into Easton axis 4mm arrows. On my first time at the range 50% of my inserts stayed in the target and were not recoverable. I took them out and tried again making sure they were totally covered and fully hardened before trying again but found the same result. I would not recommend using this product with any insert that you want to keep.

Best Hot Melt For Arrows
Hands down if you intend to use hot melt glue for your arrow points, this is the hot melt glue to go with. The biggest advantage to this is that it melts very easily, and thus glides onto the point very smoothly. It also means you don't need to heat the point up much to get the glue to melt. This makes it super easy to get a very light and smooth coating around the arrow, with very minimal excess overflow of glue coming off when sliding the point into the shaft. This means you don't have to clean up the shaft of excess globs of glue. But what little you may have to clean off, also comes off super easily so this glue makes everything a breeze when it comes to putting in arrow points. Best hot melt glue for sure.

The photo for this product listing is terrible
I realized after I glued my first dozen arrows that manufacturers who recommend cyanoacrylate / superglue for gluing inserts into carbon shafts also have a recommended way to remove them: pop the nock out, drop in a drill bit, and slide hammer the insert out. So I'm not going to use hot melt on new shafts because I'm tired of having to re-glue them.

Easy to remove components
Easy to remove! Has been holding the inserts for the arrows i use with my compound bow. I’ll eventually go to an epoxy when my arrow lengths and bow are tuned/finalized

Great product, best Ferrell adhesive I’ve ever used.
Simple to use, rock solid adhesion. Ensure inside of arrow shafts are prepped properly before using.
