Fits my high instep
I am an 8.5 with a high instep. I'd been looking for a new waterproof gardening shoe/boot to work in my boggy Seattle garden. Got these and I think I'm going to be very happy. I went with a size 9 and length width are great. I have old injuries and surgeries and these don't rub anywhere. They are very snug around my ankle with my high instep, but this means the bark and water and weeds won't get in. I do wear my gardening shoes barefoot so it's important nothing rubs. And these don't rub. Not actually sure I could get socks in these as the ankle is snug. I'm now looking for another casual pair to wear out and about in our rainy most of the year.

Comfortable and keeps my feet completely dry, even in wet boggy ground in the country.
This is my second pair of Bogs waterproof low boot/shoe. Love them!

These BOGS are unmatched
This is my second pair of BOGS in this style. My first pair I bought in the mid-2000’s and retired them 13-15 years later when they finally started to split. I bought 2 different brands after those, neither of which demonstrated the comfort nor warmth that BOGS do. I wore my first pair, as I do these, to do landscaping work where I’m trashing the heck out of the shoes. I also walk my dogs on muddy and/or snowy trails. The tread is awesome, better than my Mucks by far. In snow my feet stay a comfy temperature. Toes can get a *little* cold but I’m talking a little. Lastly, many shoes cramp my toes due to their shape, but these do not. Buy them!! They are worth every bit of the money (my first pair were $80 so they’ve come down in cost!).

Waterproof, but no support.
They are great at being waterproof, but you'll want to add some inserts to cart as well. They also run a bit big so get a bit of a smaller size. I work at a dog kennel so support and waterproof is certainly important.

Size Up if In Between Sizes
I usually wear a size 6.5 in other shoes. I went based on the measurements and ordered a size 6. That was a mistake. They were fine if I wanted to wear without socks. But with this type of material - if worn without socks - your feet will definitely get sweaty. Also the elastic-y thing on top was pretty snug and kind of uncomfortable. I returned the size 6 and went with the size 7. The size 7 is perfect, and I have room to wear them with socks. They’re 100% waterproof and very supportive! I work as a grooming assistant/bather and haven’t had any issues with water leaking through the shoes. I also love the fact they are slip resistant and supportive, since I’m on my feet all day. No aching, wet feet at the end of the day. Perfect.

Love my BOGS
These are my second pair of gardening BOGS. Lucked into the first pair 6 years ago at the county Co-op, on sale, in a big kids size 6.5 that fit me a little better than these. Also, my first pair has a very flat bottom that makes them easy to clean after working in muddy soil. These have more of a tread than my first pair, and being a women's size they are a bit wider. But I have wanted a second pair for a couple years as my first pair are wearing thin in many places. The past few years BOGS was making their shoes with a heel (why would you want a heel working in the dirt?). When I saw these with a straight bottom and high elastic tops I jumped at them. Price I paid was very good for BOGS too.

Fan of the discontinued Classic short - bought these when classic short's wore out
I live in Vermont. BOGS are standard footwear hear. I wore the Classic short style all year around, until I wore a hole in the sole. I was disapointed to find out that Bogs doesn't made those anymore. So, I gave this shorter shoe style a try. I like them. They fit and are comfortable. The one issue is I won't be able to wear these in the winter months for two reasons 1. They are not warm enough 2. they are too low in design. I can't wear a boot style because of a handicap. The wider opening of the classic short was perfect for me. Warning if you wear them everyday the soles will wear out in about a year and a half. Seems like they used to last longer? One thing I have noticed over the years.

Boots split after a year of light use.
Both left and right boots have splits in the rubber surface, useless within a year. Not acceptable when I paid $120.

Great product. I also have a pair and love them.
I bought these bogs for my daughter and she loves them. She said they fit perfectly and she loves the color.

Decent garden shoes but a little overpriced
A better fit than most (although still quite wide for those of us with narrower feet). Tread seems good. You need to wear them with higher socks to ensure the back tab doesn't cut into the back of your ankle.

Poor quality
Very comfortable. Poor quality. Boot became unclued, didn’t lady aseason. Very dissatisfied. Bought them due reputable company.

Amazing shoes! Great for rainy weather!
I bought these shoes for my husband and myself. We like to walk the forest trails and our feet kept getting wet in regular running shoes. Once we started using these shoes our feet were dry and warm. Highly recommend Bogs in general. The winter boots are also great.
