Great shoes but beware of sizing

I really like these shoes, the look and color are perfect. I ordered them because I have a pair of Bernie Mev sandals I love. They arrived on time and I'm pleased with them overall. The only thing I don't like about the shoes is that they tend to flop at the heels when I walk. I like them enough that I would not return them. They are a bit small but as I continue to wear them, the weave is loosening a bit. I am a size 8.5 or 9 for shoes. I ordered a size 40 which the chart says is equal to 9.5-10.5 US size. I ordered a 40 because that's what my other Bernie Mev sandals are. My point is these are made small so make sure you order a size larger than what the chart says. The 40 size is still a tad small and my toes are touching the ends. The shoes are becoming looser and I can still wear them but wish they were a touch longer. I will need to deal with the flopping at the heels by buying some kind of shoe insert.

Cute and comfy.

I got a lot of compliments from the ladies at church. Be sure to order a size up! The shoe definitely fits smaller than my regular shoe size of 9.5. I ordered 10.5 and that was a perfect fit.

Most comfortable heels I own!

I am a big Bernie Mev fan. I have Bernie’s shoes in several colors. True to size. I am 7 US so I ordered 38. Most comfortable heels. I can’t wear heels anymore but I decided to give this a try and they don’t bother my knees at all. I usually wear them to work all day. The platform is perfect for us mature women who need a stable and comfortable shoe and some high. It has the perfect cushion and dimensions. I have wide feet and have no problem. They will last you a long time. I thought they were a bit pricey but truly worth the money. My 3 year old Bernie’s still look like new. No sign of wear and tear and I wear them often. I recommend to anyone. My friends who also got them are in love with them. They also come in a beautiful box and a bag to take anywhere.

WAY small!

I normally wear size 7. My last pair of Bernie Mev, I sized up to 7.5/8 and they fit fine, so I ordered the same size ( 38) with this style. If you purchase these, know you may need to size up a whole size. The style is good and the wedge heel is the perfect height, however, due to the short toe box and narrow fit, they were impossible for me to wear or consider keeping. Returned. Note-- I purchased the same brand, same size, but different style (Gem) at the same time and they fit without a problem, so IMO, the Cleopatra was sized incorrectly.

Sizes are really inaccurate

I have other Bernie Mev shoes, but these feel totally different, cheaper in quality, and also are like a whole size smaller than the "size" should be. Skip these and buy another style.

I am glad that I ordered a full size larger, I only wish they had a medium width.

I can wear normal width shoes but if the shoe has a medium width I usually get the medium width. I wish these shoes were made in medium width because although they are stretchy they are very tight. I can we’re them all day but some days my feet get swollen and I have to take them off because they are so tight they hurt my feet.

Too small Too Big

Doesn’t matter what size I have ordered, these do not fit. I wear 9 1/2. They were too small. 10 is too big. Ugh sizing issues with this product! Back they went!

Bernie Mev copy

These are copied from the original Bernie Mev shoes which were the rage a couple of years ago. Individual pairs may vary in size so you could have a left shoe that is too large and a right one too small. Over all, they are comfortable and they look fine.

Fits smaller and narrower .

The arch support seems good but have to exchange from from 37 to 38. It is very narrow fit at the top but because the material is soft, it accommodates my bunion and no pain at all. I wear size 7 on other brands but the sizing on this is very odd. I am 7-7.5 with this shoes.I am hoping that it will stretch with constant use. My first Bernie shoes were all size 7 ( I had 3 of them, purchased in 2014). I had been looking for the same fit but can’t find it. This is the next best one to it. Pricing is very reasonable now compared to 2014, almost double than what I paid for this one. Also the manufacturer did not charge me extra for the exchange as I noticed that the price had increased from when I originally purchased this shoes.

Better than what I expected!

At first, I was very wondering if I was doing the right thing by buying these shoes. I have arthritis and have a hard time staying up long. I’m even very picky at the store so since I don’t go out that much anymore… I said go for it! I got them today and wow, I love them! I just would of LOVE if they had a 7. tho… Cause 7.5 is a little big and going with a “6.5-7” I was sure it would of been too small. I will stick with these because there’s time my feet swell more so it will be perfect. I mean they are so confortable! Never tought they would be… They looked a little cheap at first, but they are light and WELL made! Don’t think twice and BUY THEM????????????

Elastic upper digs in uncomfortably

I can wear them for 3 hours, but by 4 they hurt. Soles are great, good looking shoe (I got many compliments). My feet and plantar fasciitis didn't bother me at all. Just the elastic/ribbing. When I got them and tried them on at the end of the day, it was very obvious as my feet kind of puffed out over the sides. After an hour or so, you could see pressure marks. Too bad, they are cute.
