No substitute for live bait

After reading the reviews on Amazon and other sites I thought I’d give these a shot. Figured it would be good to have when I couldn’t get live sandworms. Finally got a chance to use these and was not impressed. Ran them for about 4 hours on a tube and worm rig for striper. 1. While these are 6 inches (actually slightly less) they are very thin. Two broke in half just by placing the hook through them. 2. The special juice scent attractant really had no discernible smell. Maybe more of a marketing gimmick? I don’t know. After rigging the lines I had quite a bit on my hands and could barely smell anything from it. 3. After a full day of running these on tube and worm we didn’t get a single bite. I know one day of getting skunked can’t be blamed on a product and will update if anything changes on my next trip out. But for the 20 dollar price tag I thought these would be a little more durable, and the “magic scent” stronger. For right now I’d have to recommend sticking with the real deal.

Really fast delivery

The only thing I didn’t like was that some of liquid spilled but not much so don’t get all omg it’s messy ( Im just a bit picky ) container was seal so I have no idea where the mess came from, but product it’s Great, does what is suppose to and new on the shore fishing so yea it WORKS

Surfperch

These are going to very useful throughout the summer. We love to fish for surfperch. I like these are in a jar to keep fresh, so we can use them all summer.

Worked for me!

I wanted to get real sandworms out of my local bait shop. SOLD OUT! Went to the next one- SOLD OUT AGAIN! I wanted to compare the real ones with the Gulp. Went off a pier in New Jersey and gave the Gulp sandworms a go. The Gulp Alive look and feel almost like the real thing. Soon as I reeled in close to the rocks started getting great bites. Not long into my day started catching northern kingfish. GREAT bait although the fish bites did break off the worms, if not for the breaking it's 5 stars. Fish them by slowly pulling up at times and reeling in slowly. Be ready to set the hook. Fish that like worms are usually fast and ferocious.

These worms look and work great! The only con I would have to address would be that they come in a different container than the one in the picture.

Wow. Just wow. I'm not sure exactly what it was, but every time I reeled my line in, I found my sandworm was getting shorter and shorter every single time. I mean, these sandworms LOOKS and FEELS real to ME, just imagine how they are to fishes. Tip: A lot of other reviewers are saying to cut up the bait into smaller sizes so you'll save them, but no. You actually want the whole 6inches of it so that it looks really enticing for a fish to bite it. If a huge fish happens to spot it, it'll just swallow it whole. Do not cut it into smaller pieces where you'll be taking away the action of the dangling tail off the hook.

Not bad and a decent alternative to live sandworms. I would recommend this

This is an option if you don't have time to buy real sand worms for fishing every time. It works almost as good for catching fish but the positive is you don't really have to worry about changing the bait so often. I have caught a few fluke on this but swimming mullets land more.

The Go-To bait

Good tub it comes in. The old tubs would leak and basically fall apart. The larger worms are nice so you can pinch them down to size, or use a whole piece depending on the situation. These definitely work for perch in the surf. Try pinching a piece and putting on a size 8 sabiki rig if you keep missing the hits and they are stealing your worm.

ho ordinato "Gulp! Alive!® Sandworm" e di solito in "i miei ordini" vedo la stessa foto del prodotto acquistato, invece vedevo la foto di un altro prodotto, questo: "BERKLEYS Gulp! Alive 6 Neresis 1309096 NATURAL by BERKLEYS". ok che è della stessa marca ma non è bello ricevere un ordine diverso da quello acquistato, anche il prodotto è diverso da quello in foto, spero solo sia buono...
