Expensive for what it is

So this is a expensive in cost (paid $110) for a relatively inexpensive wood box. It is made of Veneer materials and is basically Cedar lined. It's probably worth @$50. I would put the cost to make this at $20. The hardware is plastic and tin that is painted to look better than it is. If you were hoping for something to last a lifetime find a local American woodworking group. Just expect to pay 6x the cost for the good stuff. I got it for looks not quality but I do wish that was a little better for the Hundo I spent. I mean I got a polywood table for $75 that can hold 250lbs and live outside.... So This is 2.5 out of 5 stars.

This is a very pretty piece of furniture; and it's useful in so many ways. It's well constructed too.

Nice Design, A bit expensive for the quality

I love the design; however, this is definitely not natural in color, it is several shades darker. It appears the exterior is thin lauan plywood. The two I ordered had several small chips on the outside. The good news is I believe with a medium color semi transparent stain you could touch up these areas and no one would know.

Great product for the price!

This is much better than I was expecting! It’s not a veneer, it’s actually wood inside and out, and the finish is beautiful! It also smells wonderful, which is an added bonus! The latch is a little lower quality but looks very cool and can easily be replaced if needed down the road. I looked all over for a trunk this size and shape and couldn’t find anything like it, I am so happy with this!

Not worth the $

This thing smells sooo bad!!! I would never put blankets in it. It is currently sitting on my back deck open to air out. Hopefully this helps!!

What I was Looking for

I needed an end table to hold blankets and pillows and to put by remote box on. It's a little thin, but looks good and does the job!

Thin Wood for the Price and Stinks

For the high cost of $265 this is very thin wood and the metal pieces are thin also. Lots of storage space. I can't stand the smell of it so I am returning.
