Worked for us!
Got this for a Fortnite birthday party. We used it as an ice chest to put chug jugs in. It was used inside and kept everything icy cold for the day. I doubt it would stand up to being outside in the heat though. We only used it for the party but it worked just as planned. It would be a cute toy as well but I can’t see it holding up to much for too long as it’s just blow up plastic. We got a “like new” one because it was a bit cheaper but it still was a bit pricey for what it is. Oh also ... make sure it’s where you want it to be when you fill it because there’s no moving it. I also set mine on the countertop (as opposed to the wood floor) on a towel just in case the plastic seams decided to leak as the ice melted.

A lot of iffy reviews here, but... This was perfect to have at my daughter's 5th birthday
The reviews here are pretty evenly split. I was hesitant to buy it but I needed a treasure chest to fill with (not beverages, but) photo-props... like the glasses or mustaches with the sticks attached. Anyway I ordered it about a month before the party because I figured if it was a "bust-buy" (as I like to call them) I would have ample time to get a different one. It arrived neatly packaged and in just a few days. I immediately took it out of the packaging and inflated it with the breathe in my own lungs. There are a few places that need to be blown up... not just one air nozzle, but 7. Literally 7 places to blow air into. It seemed a little ridiculous at the time, but they are necessary for the structural integrity of this inflatable cooler. My recommendation is this.... and it's a good one so seriously take this advice::::: When you open it up... find the air nozzle located INSIDE on the base. Blow that one up first! If you dont start with the base you will not have enough room to blow up the base. If you blow up the base first there is plenty of room to do the rest. I must have looked like such an idiot trying to blow up the base, all because I blew up the sides first. lol I felt like an idiot at the very least, and that was just in the company of my dog haha but once the walls are formed the space inside becomes limited. So remember that. I blew this up about 3.5 weeks before the party. I planned to deflate it and store it safely until then, but it ended up staying inflated in our high-traffic den the entire time... with a big clumsy dog and a then 4 yr old girl who was constantly opening, closing and maneuvering it around. It didn't pop, didn't rip and was getting filled with more and more everyday. I started putting other party favors and decorations inside as the party got closer. At the party there were 22 children under 8 literally pulling and fighting over this treasure chest filled with photo props. I was positive (bc of reviews) that it was going break, bust or something along those lines. But it didnt! Even now, a week after the party it sits in our den, in perfect shape and filled with stuff.... some of that stuff having sharp or pointier edges than you think this thing would stand. It even has a velcro-plastic strap as a latch. It's a pretty cool item and I had it filled with a ton of stuff. This will last so long as you use your best judgment when putting things inside. Make sure there's nothing too big or too heavy or too sharp. I didn't use this as a cooler but I am sure that I could have, just based on the sheer weight I had in it. I'd be cautious when putting ice in it though, bc when you buy a bag of ice it tends to stick together and become bulky. But if it were broken down enough I could definitely put some soda cans, water bottles, juice boxes or ice pops inside. I would totally recommend this to someone. I'm actually lending this to a friend for her daughters upcoming "under the sea" party. The price was good, shipping was fast and my experience with this purchase has been nothing but pleasant. Thumbs up all around!

cute but hard to keep inflated
This was a cute product for our under the sea party but, one side was incredibly hard to inflate and keep inflated.

It worked great in our cruise stateroom to hold our drinks but ...
This cooler was not as thick as I thought it would be. It worked great in our cruise stateroom to hold our drinks but it's not as sturdy as the picture shows. The outside sweats and gets water on things, also. We put a towel under it and a towel around the base to absorb the water and all was well. The lid began to tear off after the second day as we would open and close it. We were on a 7 day cruise and it was still intact and working on the last day.

How fun!
We used this to hold props for our Mermaids and Pirates Party. ... after the party it sat in our garage for 2 months and stayed inflated the whole time! Great quality for what we used it for.

Aesthetically pleasing but lacking in longevity
I bought this to use for my son's birthday party, and while it did technically last for the duration, it started to deflate rather quickly. For the price I'd consider it worthwhile.

Great buy.. good product but strap ripped off.
It is a great product. Very sturdy. I had a 6.yo pool party but I will say that the velcro or the strap to the cooler ripped off. I tried gluing it back together but that didn't work. Still a good buy!

Before ordering i read a bad review on this item but gave it benefit of the doubt and to my surprise it was just as described and looked in the picture and was very pleased with it.
