Unbelievably soft and luxurious feeling
I can not believe how insanely soft this blanket it. It’s like a super cozy, silky soft fleece blanket. It has a good weight to it. I will say that at first I was really disappointed with the lack of heat coming from it. I could barely feel it on high and considered returning it. But I LOVED how soft it was and I was so bummed! Later that same day I had another light blanket next to me and I popped that on top and BAM the heat was there. It just needed a light coverlet to keep the heat in and I was warm and cozy. So, I’ll take a star off for the fact that it needs another blanket on top to really warm up, but the blanket itself is fantastic, the best fabric I’ve ever had for an electric throw blanket in the past.

Great low emf throw
This is exactly as advertised - it's a nice, soft electric throw with low emf. The heat settings and distribution are perfect. It heats quickly. I'm very pleased.

Worked for awhile
It worked for awhile but there was some issue with the wiring after 3 months so the blanket went to the trash. Definitely not for every night use like I was using

Absolutely love
I was a little nervous about getting an electric blanket because I am so hot natured, but my feet are constantly cold so I got those throw size one just to put my feet in and not try to awkwardly wrap my heating pad around them. I was not expecting to end up sleeping with it every night. My two dogs sleep with me as well and they are obviously huge fans too. They aren't very rambunctious and are 18 and 46 lbs, so I'm not sure if they are a good gauge for how durable or pet friendly it is. They have walked on it and curled up in it quite a bit though and it is fine. I have only had it about a month but if anything changes I will come back and update this.

No heating coils around 10-12" throw border, but high setting keeps us warm. 5 yr Limited Warranty
We had 2 that stopped working last year & hadn't been used all that often, but were more than 3 years old. I know they worked the season before. My hubby has Parkinson's Disease & is always cold. I wanted to replace at least one of them, so more than a year ago, I started researching & reading review after review after review only to become very discouraged. It seemed to me that there wasn't any heated blanket or throw on the market that even lasted one year. So, I didn't purchase one. This past winter, I researched again only to find the same dismal results. Finally, I decided to bite the bullet & purchased this Beautyrest throw, the reviews are decent & it has a 5 yr. limited warranty. He's been using it off & on for about 7 weeks now & it's still working. What he likes & doesn't like: It gets warm enough for him on the highest setting; It takes a while to warm up; The heating coils don't cover the entire blanket. There's a large border (about 10-12" on every side) which doesn't get warm. You shouldn't lay on it or sit on it...just cover yourself. It is washable. and will turn off after 2 hours. It has a 5 year limited warranty.

Good Blanket "BUT"
THIS IS A VERY SOFT BLANKET AND WHEN IT WORKS IT'S GREAT THE FIRST BLANKET I HAD LASTED ABOUT 1 YEAR AND THEN IT STOPPED WORKING, WHEN I TRIED TO GET IT REPLACED (IT HAS A 5 YEAR WARRANTY) THEY TOLD ME I HAD TO GIVE THEM THE MODEL NUMBER WHICH IS ONLY ON THE CONTROLLER ITSELF i DID NOT HAVE THE CONTROLLER SO I COULD NOT REPLACE THE BLANKET SO SAVE THE CONTROLLER EVEN IT STOPS WORKING ALSO MAKE SURE YOU REGISTER IT OR IT WON'T BE COVERED EITHER A LOT OF STEPS. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES I DID AND YOU COULD POSSIBLY GET IT REPLACED.

Gift for my elderly mom

This was a Christmas gift for my Dad.
I didn't want to order a regular sized heated throw. They are just too small. This is the perfect size! It is very attractive, soft and oh so warm. The perfect gift, since our days here in Minnesota can as cold as -14 below zero! He can use it for naps on the couch or take it to bed and use it to warm himself. I am going to order another Beautyrest Electric Blanket for myself.

Not Reliable

Its an electric blanket, folks. It's warm
What can I say, it keeps me warm when it's cold outside. It's soft, the cats like it. It's winner in this household. Kind meh about how it turns off randomly but that's a safety thing.

Cozy heated blanket
I love this heated blanket, it’s soft and a nice large size for tall people. The only reason I didn’t do full stars is I feel like one side heats better than the other. The heated wires are distributed throughout but the side closest to the power cord seems to heat up the most. It’s a large blanket so that doesn’t bother me too much. We love Beautyrest products and have a queen sized one on our mattress!!
