Great set of Bakugan! But Spin Master can do better

All of the Bakugan from this particular Legends Collection are pretty cool. The Nova Dragonoid looks especially nice in the Aurelus (gold) colors, Trox with his Baku-Gear is a nice combo with the translucent green pieces, and Centipod + Surturan are fun figures all around. The set is nice and absolutely a great buy whether you want to pick some Bakugan up or to gift it to someone! However, just to scrutinize a bit, Spin Master definitely cheaped out a little bit with the toys. The toy quality isn't any different from previous releases, and they all function properly for me, but there's a noticeable lack of paint applications on Trox and Centipod, and Surturan to a lesser extent, when compared to their previous iterations in Armored Alliance or Geogan Rising. Trox no longer has any paint on his tail leading to his back, and is missing a few details on his head, feet, and chest. Centipod has almost no paint on his tail aside from these "swoosh" marks that were used on two of the segments, and is missing paint on his eyes. Surturan isn't lacking as much compared to his old one, but the main issue I have with the new one from this pack is that the two swoosh marks used on his back aren't even aligned properly! Nova Dragonoid doesn't have an old version of him to compare with, but it wouldn't have hurt to have a bit more paint on him, as it's mostly the gold plastic with little paint elsewhere. I know some may not be bothered as much with the paintjobs as me, especially if the toys function as they're supposed to and there was fun to be had with them, but it's lame that liberties were taken with the toys' appearances. I love the set overall and have been enjoying the toys from it, and still believe it's a great pickup, but I know Spin Master is more than capable of giving these toys proper paintjobs.

No sé que decir de este producto mi hijo ama la serie. Sin embargo no pudo conectar con este juego, no sé si es, porque el juego amerita jugarlo en grupo, o porque es para un niño mayor de 6 años.

Awesome they light up. Few are hard to put back into a ball keep popping out.

My son loves these and this set is awesome. The fact they light up is amazing never seen those kind before. Some of them keep popping back open and they are correctly put together. This is not a good thing because I feel like they can easily be broken when storing if they aren't put into a ball. He likes to take them places and being stored in a case when they pop open. I feel are going to lead to them being broken. The case is a great value with how many you get. Definitely a good set to give as a gift for anyone that collects these.

Great deal. The Bakugan have great stats for the game and you get some pretty awesome cards.

All Bakugan included were of excellent quality physically, and had some really good stats for the TCG. The cards included can combine together to form a really cool image. The nanogan are exclusive and epic, due to their transparent with gold accents design that almost look as if they were some sort of diamond nanogan or something. And the highlight is genesis Drago and Wrath. Its like if they took the ideas behind, diamonds, and Preyas from the original show and gave them some awesome lights and busted stats all combining to form one strong and cool looking pair of Bakugan.

A hit with the kids!

This set was a hit with my 2 boys (9 and 5). The light up Bakugans are pretty cool. You can't go wrong with this set if your child is a Bakugan fan. Well worth the money and so much in the set!

Way cheaper on sale than buying these individually. I don’t get the allure, but my kids LOVE these at the moment.

6yo son loves those

Those really cool, tiny toys, for kids who can be gentle (they are easy to break). My son convinced me they were worth it to him by paying 20$ from his own money and to him they are like jewels. He loves how they fold/unfold, loves the monsters and cards. He doesn’t even know how to play and he adores them.

An excellent set of Bakugan especially for a first time player.

I’m a Pokemon and Digimon guy, and in some cases a YuGiOh and Beyblade guy (I can easily spend all day describing them all in detail), so when I saw this set I was enthralled to see what the younger generation are playing. Upon receiving this I was surprised to see the intricacies and build quality of the set, my favourite of the four was easily the dragonoid as it lights up, but all of them are well made. It takes some time to figure out what to do and the way to use the cards, but once you do there is a lot of fun to be had. The magnet cards are solid and work well to open the Bakugan figures, but they work best when rolling the Bakugan slowly onto the cards, unfortunately physics gets in the way when playing these and rolling the Bakugan fast doesn’t always open them onto the magnet cards. A slight downside for me was the guide for folding the dragonoid was difficult to follow, but I eventually figured out that the ‘tail’ needs to be clipped back (and I was worried about breaking it at first, the clip was loud) and the arms need to be folded inwards towards and past the body. Only then can it be folded into a ball. Overall once you get past the intricacies this is a great set to play and collect.
