Best choice for home use. Shared bathroom.

I had trouble with the kids breaking the regular wood or regular plastic toilet seats. The almond or beige is also hard to find. So I was thrilled to find this commercial toilet seat, in Bone color, without the lid/cover. The teenagers tend to relax on the lid instead of doing their business and getting out of the bathroom. With no lid there is less relaxing going on. The commercial grade seat has stronger hinges and metal screws. Potentially, this will last longer and they will use it faster. When you need to share a bathroom with a big family, you need to know these ideas to help make each person’s turn in the bathroom to be more efficient. I don’t want anyone to lean back and relax. I want them to go and get out. This commercial grade plastic toilet seat with no lid, will surely be easy to wipe off. I would give it 10 stars.

Inexpensive and sturdy

This was the perfect seat for my II vintage Kohler Art Deco wall mounted tank toilet. It looks right, It feels sturdy, It is sturdy and best of all the hinges locate the seat extremely well and do not let the seat slide around on the rim of the toilet. That is rare these days. Altogether this suits me, fits my butt and my aesthetic sparseness and exceded my expectations. If you dont like toilet seats that skitter around and if you dont worry about being in style this seat may work for you too

Extremely uncomfortable seat

I’ve had this for about a year and I’m not happy with it. We have had it in the guest bathroom so I rarely use it but when I do I always hate it. Even if I sit on it for a very short time, my legs start falling asleep because of the shape of the seat digging into my legs. Also, another reviewer mentioned that the seat isn’t soft close and just stays wherever you put it and I can vouch for that. It also hasn’t felt anchored in and it slides around when you first sit down. I would definitely not recommend this seat.
