Excellent toddler puzzle!

This puzzle is the perfect level of challenge for my 20 month old! She has pretty well mastered shape puzzles with a big, chunky knob and a colored picture of the piece that’s supposed to go in each spot. This puzzle was a great next level of difficulty for her since the pieces have no knobs, it has two layers of the same shape, and the board is solid wood with no picture printed underneath. There is a cut out next to each inner puzzle piece that you can stick a finger into to be able to lift the peace out, and this is great for fine motor practice. Having the added element of mixing colors is a fun extension too. Everything seems to be of great quality, and I really appreciate that all the shapes are simple, traditional shapes, and that they didn’t include unique characters like squiggles or pluses. The cut out for each shape has a little bit of wiggle room, which I appreciate because it means that my toddler can still get the puzzle pieces in without having them exactly lined up. We try to follow Montessori principles at home, and I really appreciate that this puzzle doesn’t have any extra busy patterns/prints/cartoons to distract the child, and all the pieces are self-correcting.

Great Learning Toy for Toddlers!

This is a high quality puzzle with lots of shapes and colors. Both the board and the pieces are sturdy and well-made. It is a fun way to introduce little ones to color mixing and changing, as well as various shapes. It is listed for kids age 18+ months old and I think that is appropriate. My daughter just turned 18 months old, and is not showing much interest in puzzles yet, but I think she will really enjoy this soon! Her aunt and uncle had lots of fun playing with it when they were watching her. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this toy! It has lots of potential for open-ended play and learning!

Great Mind puzzle for the Young and Elderly

Of course we bought this for our youngest but Grandma (She has Alzheimers) was ready to fight for it. It became hours of fun for Grandma during her visit. It became a calming tool for her Sundowning. I expected a few splinters from the wood but it came well sanded and no sharp edges bothered my fingers. I was impressed with multiple shapes for each shape hole. Each plastic shape had a wooden shape behind it. This adds another dimension to the puzzle because, Grandma and our youngest want to stare at the colors and go for those first, and they fit nicely...but...the wooden shape has to go in first to get both to settle into their shape. That was gold when watching a 6 yo and Grandma trying to figure that into the solution.

Awesome puzzle!

This is an awesome puzzle! It’s super fun and different for kids. I like the different shapes, colors, and textures. I highly recommend this puzzle!

I Trust B.Toys

I have four B.Toys and they are all well-designed and well-made toys. This is a simple shape sorter, but it includes a second level of plastic shapes that, when placed on top of each other, allows a child to learn about mixing colors. Included is a bag to hold the shapes, but not the puzzle board. I usually just put the puzzle and pieces in a gallon-size plastic good bag. An added plus is the notch that allows the child (and adult!) to more easily remove the piece from the board. I would say that the price is reasonable, although I'd like to see it near the $10 mark so that more parents could afford these toys.

Great colors

This shape puzzle is really fun and simple. I love the fact that there are two pieces to each shape. When you put the clear plastic piece on top of the bottom piece, you can see how it can create a new color. That is really great for helping my kid understand how taking two colors can make a third color. It also comes with a bag which is nice to store pieces in if you need to.

Awesome Puzzle

This is perfect for toddlers. The pieces are easy for them to put into place, which makes them want to use the puzzle. The primary colors are perfect. I expect my littles to outgrow this before it shows any signs of wear.

Educational on my levels

For those kiddos on the younger side, this puzzle serves multiple different educational and developmental purposes. First, the pieces take a bit of maneuvering to get out, which is good for those kiddos still developing fine motor skills. Also, the shape and color combinations are great for those still mastering those areas. I do wish there was a better solution for storing the puzzle and its pieces other than the little accompanying plastic baggie, but perhaps there's no good way around that?
