Elegant with issues

This Armitron watch has a very attractive look. The black dial and the gold tinted hands really are impressive, and the shiny gold and silver finish on the band stands out as well. The band was a bit too large for my wrist, so I had a jeweler remove two links. Now it fits quite well, and doesn't rotate on my wrist. The double push-button safety is a nice feature, and keeps the clasp from opening accidentally. I have some issues with the watch though. The date window is rather small and difficult to see compared to some other watches, and under certain lighting conditions, the mineral crystal lens creates a starburst effect that interferes with reading the dial. Perhaps this is nitpicky, but those like myself with less-than-optimal vision, might have similar concerns. The watch is also heavier than those I've owned in the past. These issues aside, it looks rather upscale and keeps accurate time. I feel upscale when I wear it.

Beautiful! Looks very expensive

I love watches. Everything about them. Digital, analog, quartz, automatic, complications, bands. I love it all. This watch doesn't disappoint. It has a quartz movement with a date complication at the 6 o'clock. When you unbox it, the first thing you notice is the aesthetic--it looks very regal. It is black/gold/silver in color and has roman numerals on the dial (everything but the "12" is marked by 1's). I think this type of watch thrives in more formal settings. Not to say you couldn't rock this in an undershirt and shorts, but it really shines with a suit. The default band size was a little bit for my small wrists, but it is perfect now after taking out a couple links. I've gotten a couple compliments on the watch already, too! If you are in the market for a nice watch that won't break the bank, go for this!

Great watch!

I was quite pleased when I received this men’s Armitron watch. In appearance, it looks super sharp with the two tone color and I love the detail on the face. It is made extremely well, it has a nice weight to it without being big and bulky. My husband says it is very comfortable on the wrist. Luckily the watch fit him perfectly so we did not have to remove any links. Overall, this watch offers great craftsmanship, looks classy and can easily be an everyday piece. Highly recommended! Great looking watch

This is a very handsome watch by Armitron that looks more expensive than it really is. I did not think I would like the rectangle watch face or gold tone but the watch actually looks rather classy in person. It's a quartz watch and it is keeping time well, and it was easy to set the date and time. Recommended.

Gorgeous plus perfect function

This Armitron Men's Date Function Bracelet Watch is even better looking in person that it is in the photo. It reminds me a lot of how watches used to be designed years ago with sleek elegance. It has somewhat of an old-fashioned style along with modern design elements. Great looks in a watch are nice, but to me that doesn’t mean much if the watch doesn’t function well. This Armitron watch functions perfectly. I’ve been testing it several times per day for the past two weeks - comparing its time function to the nuclear clocks found online. It isn’t off by even a fraction of a second. It’s spot on. I guess this accuracy isn’t surprising given the fact that the watch uses Japanese quartz movements that are very precise. Plus, Armitron is a brand that’s been around since 1975, so they know what they’re doing. I really like this watch. It’s definitely my all-time favorite in this price range - even if it were priced $100 more.

Looks expensive, but it isn't.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received this watch. It has the look and feel of a much more expensive watch. I will use it as my daily watch instead of my much more expensive watch. I like the large face and calendar date numbers. Can see the date without wearing my glasses. Hopefully it will keep good time. It likely will because of the movement being used. I would get it again.
