Easy install, difficult setup and does not stay connected to Alexa
This is very easy to install. The setup is not seamless. I had to make several attempts to get it to connect to my network instead of directly to my phone. Extremely frustrating. Then once I finally got it connected, and connected to Alexa. I get up the next morning and it is unresponsive. I have 4 of these, and two are continuously unresponsive. I completely remove them from the network and app. Reset the entire thing, they stay connected for a little while, then drop out again. Totally frustrating. The whole purpose of buying these was because they connected to Alexa. My wireless switch works, but not the reason I bought them. It makes no sense because they are connected to the network through the app, just not Alexa.

You get what you pay for...
Armacost is by far the BEST LED product available. Many of the other cheap products on Amazon only last about five years. NOT ARMACOST. They work !!

Unforgiving of ANY wiring mistake. Dies instantly.
They work fine but are totally unforgiving about wiring mistakes. Most modern electronics are self-limiting if you wire them backwards or short them out. I’ve had two of these just give up the ghost with a tiny temporary short. That’s my fault but it should handle that, being a consumer product. Can’t really recommend it because of that.

Quirky Functionality
Let me prefuse this review by saying I purchased the previous generation Wi-Fi control #714425 from another website but received this updated one instead. I'm reviewing here because I purchased the other needed components on Amazon that were in stock. First the good. This was easy to connect to my network and works well with Google. Tell Googs to turn it on/off, set the brightness level and probably the color (I only have white puck lights) and it happens. Then there is the quirkiness. The Tuya app designed for this controller is very basic and somewhat useless. To use the remote you have to enable it in the Tuya app. The app basically just turns on the lights. But the ridiculous part is that this controller will not turn on the lights if the brightness level is set higher than 30%. It will go into overload protection mode and the onboard LED will flash red if the level is set above that. So we have to be aware of this each time we want turn it on or off and how that will affect using it the next time. We have been in contact with Armacost support about this issue. I told them what was happening and when I mentioned the 30% threshold in my reply all support stopped. I guess it's sort of functioning properly? So if they're ok with this then we should just accept that's how it works? Disappointed to say the least.

No latest Apple iOS support
I really like the Armacost products, but unfortunately the wireless unit will not work with the latest Apple iOS, so alas I will need to search for another product.
