Fits Well and Easy to Install

I had a little trouble with the delivery but when I finally got the parts they worked great. I would have been satisfied with PVC but the brass is much nicer.

The Casting broke screwing it in. One could then see the thin wall cast defect side. Not a good value and would want to buy several, for what may break when installing. And, yes, used both dope and tape and was not fully at "tight". I deliberatly use a "shorter" handle wrench to make sure of torque and sealing properly. This did neither and just don't get how something like this can be that way, - this was a first after years of using inventory I had on hand. Quality and spec has change I can suppose from this.

Nicely made fitting.

These fittings are well made with a fine grain casting finish. The machining of the treads is smooth and clean, with no chatter marks, so they thread up easily and seal with only a layer or two of Teflon tape.

Nice quality part, threads were nice and clean easy to use and seal with a little PTFE tape.

Poor quality, the fitting's thickness was totally uneven.

As expected

What to really write here. They worked, the threads were very clean, easy to install and it didn't leak. The castings were fine enough and not very rough as to be unsightly. Perfect for a non-restricted hose bib setup.
