works for soup

I bring lunch to work every day. I got these bowls to make batches of soup for a week or more. I've frozen, refrigerated, microwaved, dishwashered them and carried them back and forth in a lunchbox with no issues at all! These are a great buy.

USA Quality Made

I bought these for the sole purpose of being USA made which is hard to find anymore. I am thoroughly impressed with these containers. They are thick glass and very durable. Lids are easy to put on and remove. Much better than the click and lock models I've had. Dishwasher safe so easy to clean. I don't have any negative points to make. Highly recommend!

I've had all sorts of storage containers over the years and now when I need more, I just buy Anchor Hocking with the TrueSeal lids. Of course I want glass for the durability and safety but regular plastic lids become brittle trash with age. I've had some of these with the silicone lids for years and they are still good so the plan is to stick with these.

Very Versatile for food storage

Great set of storage containers!!! Lids seal very well & LOVE that you can write date/item on lid with erasable marker !!!! Works well in fridge, freezer, & microwave !!!!! No plastic chemicals either….

Great product - will show-up misformed in shipping - but recoverable

The way the 4 of these 7 cup storage containers are packaged leaves the bulk weight of each lying on the rubber top of the other. The tops will then seem damaged when opening but, you can turn the rubber top upside down on each of them and place the bottom of the 7 cup glass on top of each for 48 hours. After that, the rubber top will take shape and be ok to use. Great, great product!

Great for food storage but DO NOT PUT LIDS IN DISHWASHER

The lids say right on them they can go on the top rack, but on the second use, they warped horribly. We had them on the top rack, light wash, regular temp, and two of them warped so badly they won't seal. That said, they're heavy duty, seal well, and are fantastic for food storage. And it's easy to hand wash the lids -- it's just like...don't say they're dishwasher safe when they're clearly not! I hate the wastage, because Amazon is going to replace them, but they are sending 4 new ones instead of just the two lids we'd need, and you know they'll send the rest to the landfill because that's what they do. Bottom line: Get them, love them, handwash the lids.

Best Solution if You Want to Replace Plastic Storage

Simple, durable, clean, glass storage solution. Whats not to like? Quality product, I bought 3 sets. I ended up buying some additional 1 cup glass containers too.

Pros: Perfect for various small quantities Nest within each other when not using Can be stacked on top of each other when using lids Withstands jostling and cleans easily Con: Seal isn’t totally complete so if placing liquids inside, ensure it stays upright For storing leftovers and then reheating in the microwave, these are excellent.
