Great Product

I have several pair of the Amazon Essential scrub pants and tops. Great product but shipment was horrible. If Amazon continues to use US postal service, this will be my last purchase from Amazon.

poor quality material and build

The every piece of lint, dog hair, dirt, etc sticks to the material relentlessly. The draw string and its sewn connection is extremely thin and weak and broke the first day i wore them on two of the three pair i purchased. Wish is had not bought them. I wont again

Lightweight and roomy, well made and quite stylish for working trousers

Amazon Essentials Men's Elastic Drawstring Waist Scrub Trousers Although described as 'Scrubs' these will easily double up as general work trousers, in fact they are quite decent looking and would also be suitable for everyday general use. The trousers I ordered were charcoal in colour so they don't look out of place if I wear them during a trip down to the shops. They are made from 64% Polyester, 34% Cotton and 2% Elastane. The material is quite thin and durable, there is a small amount of stretch in the material so they don't work their way down if bending a lot. These have an elasticated waist along with a draw chord so you can wear these as loose or tight as you wish. What I particularly like is how lightweight and airy these are making them ideal for summer use, the trousers hang loosely but do not appear scruffy. There are also plenty of deep pockets, 9 in total, these are placed on the hips, bottom and along the sides of the upper legs. Overall the quality of these is excellent, I could detect no loose or wayward stitching, these appear well made and likely to last. Thank you for reading my review, I hope you have found it helpful.

Comfortable casual/work trousers

These trousers are sold as scrubs, i.e. medical wear, but they are equally suitable for general work wear, casual wear or even for going to the shops etc. They are quite made of quite thin fabric, so more suited to summer, rather than winter wear, but they do have a good selection of pockets, all of which are very roomy. They have an elasticated waist, backed up by a drawstring, which I find I need or they are bit loose on me. I have the Medium size, which is what I normally take and they are very similar to other medium sized trousers. They are also very well made, the stitching is all neat and accurate and there are no loose threads or other issues. The only slight negative for me is the price, £31.60 (at the time of writing) is rather a lot for work, or casual, trousers.

Scrubs

Work trousers suitable for a great many situations. These are made of the usual heavy on the Polyester, "Poly-Cotton" mix, with a little elastane for give. They have a good range of pockets, always a must for work wear. Available in a various colours and sizes. I tried the charcoal grey variant. In the Pyjama draw-string waist design, these are generous and reasonably comfortable, but I find the texture of "Poly-Cotton" to be less pleasant than say traditional denim, (it is much hotter in summer) but it is harder wearing, and more resistant to water and staining. These are machine wash, but as a new from the bag review, I haven't laundered these.

This is a good set of trousers. The elasticated, draw-string waist makes them comfortable around the waist, and the lightness makes them comfortable around the legs. There are six good sized, strong pockets - two at front, two at back and one on the outside of each leg - giving plenty of room for carrying things. The only potential downsides are that: * they won't provide much warmth in the cold outdoors, but that is okay as they can be worn over something, * the pockets don't have zips or button fasteners, but it would still be quite difficult for things to fall out of them I feel so that doesn't matter too much either. Pretty perfect.
