The carpet man's shoe

These Adidas have been around for decades. Don't mess with a classic. Although I am not an avid Adidas enthusiast, I am compelled to do an in-depth review on these shoes. I am a carpet installer. My job requires the right tools for the job, and shoes can fall into the category of tool. I need a white sole at work so that I dont leave any streaks on walls or floors, like black shoes can leave behind. I also need a moveable, breathable, athletic shoe that is not too clunky like a boot is, so I can move faster with more agility in tight spaces. Most importantly, I need shoes that can withstand a lot of toe abuse. Constantly bending down or unrolling carpet by kicking it with your feet will destroy the toes of a shoe fast. The shell toe Adidas takes a beating. This shoe is perfect for what I need it for. It has everything I need in a work shoe, and I'm a Puma, Nike or Jordan guy. I don't buy Adidas like that. I dont like Nike's business practices though. I'll be buying more of these in the future unless I'm dead or something

ADIIDAS BEST!

My husband has been wearing Stan Smiths for over 25 years! Will not wear anything else. Although these are court shoes, they are very comfortable and he travels with them constantly. Now they are very much in vogue and sometimes hard to find. They are quite cool, indeed! Had to wait for them a bit, as they shipped from UK, but he had his old ones as back up. The quality in incomparable, as I said, his last pair has been around for 8 years.... I was just going to post a picture of "old" eight year olds and brand new ones....but he's gone out wearing the old ones!!! I'm going to order a pair for myself, I just saw my grandniece wearing a pair, so nice. The leather is very soft, they are, of course, extremely durable, my husband is very hard on shoes. I've put them in the washer and they come out spotless. No dryer, ever! Adidas comes through every time. I highly recommend these. Amazon Prime may have them, they were out in December.....

Weird off white leather.

The white color is not white. The rubber and shell toe are white The leather appears to be ivory. I'll most likely return as I like white to be white not yellowed. Not even trying these on.

I love my Superstars!

Was a little concerned they were a bit stiff at first but they broke right in. I’ve had them for several months now & they’re holding up perfect & are super comfortable. I also have them in (2) other color combinations so obviously I love them!

Timeless sport fashion trainer

This is my second pair of Adidas Stan Smiths , the first pair of this popular shoe where distorted on arrival (not from Amazon) , I wanted a fashion trainer to wear with Jeans and these tick the box, timeless shoes that everyone should have according to YouTube , you should buy between half & a full size bigger than your standard shoes (not trainers) Whilst not being expensive they are not the quality I expected from Adidas I felt that the tongue should have been leather but was a cushioned vinyl , I was surprised the inside seemed to be fabric which would have been leather some time ago , I read that a lot of trainers are a variation of leather with a sprayed colour finish. I knew all the above from my original order for me they are just for the odd occasion in the pub or pizza house and fit the bill in style and price for the limited amount of wear they will get
