Needed soft slippers to walk around the house

I was looking for some soft slippers to walk briefly around the house and found these. I had a similar style of open toed and no support in the back so i was used to this style. Note: I am 73 years old and have no problems getting around with these slippers. I got the size 14 slippers and each slipper contours to my feet very well. I normally wear either size 13 or 14 wide shoes. The strap is very adjustable and does not feel tight on my feet when walking. I got the grey color for the slippers. Very easy to put on, just slide my feet under the strap on the slippers. You just have to be cautious when walking with this kind of slipper. Walking forward, the slippers seem to stay very well on my feet. I am cautious when turning around or walking backwards in these slippers. They can easily turn or slip off your feet. I find lifting my feet and then turning slowly around works the best and the slippers stay on my feet. The slippers also work better on wood or non carpeted floors, although I find no problems walking on carpeted floors as long as you lift your feet properly. I stay on the main floor of my Ranch house and do not go up or down steps with them to my basement. I use other shoes for that. I do feel the cushioning or padding of the slippers on my feet compared to me walking on the floor barefoot or just socks which is good. One thing I am not sure of right now is how long the padding will last since I am 6 foot 2 inches and weigh around 200 pounds. I won't wear these constantly while in the house so maybe that will make them last longer far as the paddings. We shall see over the weeks and months to follow. All in all, I like these slippers and it is hard to find anything in size 14 for my feet and that I like.

Comfortable but pricey

Bought these for my father with size 15 feet & he likes them very much. He says they are comfortable. My only issue is that they would have a more sturdier bottom for longer wear. It might be because of his feet though ???? overall worth the purchase

Love These Comfortable!

I bought these for my husband and son, they both love them. They are adjustable with velcro to fit any width foot. They love the open toe, as they do not get sweaty and stinky (gross I know haha)

Second Pair

These are by far my favorite slippers and am now on my second pair. My feet can sometimes be sweaty so I've found I should stay away from close-toed house shoes, especially those with soft lining. I came across these and decided to give them a try and have not been disappointed. After a couple of weeks of wearing them, the memory foam forms to your foot shape but still retains a comfy, cushion feel. I had my first pair for about 10 months before feeling like I was due for a new pair. I will say, I did not take the best care of them. About 4 months into my first pair, I was running around the house playing with my cat and did tear the seam a bit so I'd advise not doing that lol. Every month or so I throw them in the wash and find it helps a lot. I dry them on low heat and find they rebound quite a lot and have new life breathed into them. I think I could have extended their life if I did this more often as well as not run around in them.

Horrible plastic insert is painful!

Narrower than expected but adjusted to the maximum width is tolerable. I purchased these slippers 6 months ago and try to wear them from time to time, but end up putting back in closet due to the hard plastic insert (so painful with every step) built into the inside sole. Such a poor design that ruins a pretty good slipper....I should have returned when I had an opportunity.. This time they go in the garbage rather than back in the closet!

Like walking on clouds…and greatly reduces foot ofor

I am a woman, and I have wide feet, and also very smelly feet. I have to wear slippers to protect the wood floor from « foot sweat » marks, otherwise I’d go barefoot. I did a lot of research and settled on these. They CHANGED my life. I bought the mens instead of Womens because I have wide feet. They are a bit big, but the adjustable strap keeps them in place. The Terry cloth absorbs sweat and wicks moisture. My old slippers got sweaty and gross really fast (within about a month), but I’ve had these for 6 months, and no sweat, and no smell! They let my feet breath so I don’t get that icky sweaty feeling or gross smell. They are also SOOO comfortable to walk in. They feel like stepping on little clouds. For anyone who struggles with sweaty and /or smelly feet, these are a must! I was hesitant about the price tag—a lot more than I’d usually pay for slippers—but they were worth every penny!

Great slippers

I love these slippers , although they have gone up a bit in price (like everything) and seem to be a tiny bit less high quality in terms of construction compared to ones I bought a number of years back. Still feel these are the best slippers for comfort!

Very soft but memory foam not good

The slippers fit well but the memory foam sank permanently after just a couple weeks of use.
