lightweight and comfortable.

I liked these the first few months of wearing them. They look similar to a loafer which I like. They're lightweight and don't get too hot after wearing them around the house. The sole is not very thick so they're not clunky. They did wear out after a few months of wearing them so they were no longer usable. A hole wore into the inside middle of the sole. I wore them with socks so perhaps the friction cause the wear inside but they didn't last very long.

Most comfortable slipper my husband has ever worn

My husband is a type 2 diabetic and says these slippers are the most comfortable slipper he has ever worn.

Didn't like at all

I didn't like these at all, didn't like the feel, the shape. Just awkward. Similar to cheap drugstore slippers. Not sure what the usecase is.

Best Yet

These are the best house shoes I've ever had. Only problem is that I can't keep my wife from using them. Had to buy her some of her own. If you've got family expect to buy more.

Not for me, too small, hoodback too short

I’m disappointed, I had big hopes for these based on the reviews and the listing info. I like moc type shoes and have numerous pairs of them and hoped I would like these too. I got the size 10.5-11.5. My biggest problem is the height of the heel cup for my foot is too low, they don’t stay on my feet. They are also too short, I have a size 11.5 foot that is 11-1/4 long, the inside of these shoes is only 10.75” making them a size 10-1/2. My heel ends up sitting on the back of the heel cup (hoodback) making them extra uncomfortable. From the inside of the shoe to the top edge of the hoodback measures only 5/8” high. For my feet the hoodback needs to be another ½ to ¾ “ tall. Part of the issue is the shoe back leans outward so there is no real cupping action. The algae sole is very thin, the shoes are feather weight and the sole doesn’t grip very well on the tile floor, I tried dragging it on the rough concrete driveway to scuff it up but it is tough and it barely made any marks on it. Sole edges aren’t finished, just a straight sharp edge and the insole is too little for the upper. The foam insole sits away from the shoe side, my foot keeps sliding off the side of the in-sole. In-sole is glued in and not made to be removed for washing Eco packing so I didn’t get a shoe box. I like shoe boxes. Overall: Not for me, size is too small, hoodback is too short, in-soles are not wide enough and I’m not a fan of the look. I like my old fashion house slippers that I got for 1/3 as much. I salute the attempt to use recycle materials, I don’t have a problem with the materials other than the sole is slick. I would not buy again.

Wide Receiver: An Acorn Men's Algae-Infused Recycled Parker Hoodback Slipper Review

I’ve been searching for the perfect pair of house slippers that fit, are comfortable, and don’t overheat my feet. Even though I thought the algae-infused soles were weird, I ordered the Acorn men's algae-infused recycled parker hoodback slipper, made in China. These slippers are attractive, and the .25” thick soles have a typical appearance. I was excited to try these slippers on my long and somewhat narrow foot. Unfortunately, these slippers are so wide that my feet slide around and feel like they will unexpectedly come off my foot. Even though they are comfortable, I had to remove them after a short walk in my house. Had I tried these on at the store, I never would have bought them. There are times when I can fit into a narrow shoe, typically cowboy boots. However, I normally wear standard-width shoes comfortably. It’s not uncommon for me to find shoes that are too wide. If you have a standard to wide width foot, the Acorn men's algae-infused recycled parker hoodback slipper might be a good option for you. If you have a narrower foot, you’ll likely find these slippers ► PROS: Comfortable to wear Sustainable materials Attractive ► CONS: Wide width

Basically no arch support at all. Seems cheaply made

This is a review of Acorn Men's Algae-Infused Recycled Parker Hoodback Slipper Prior Acorn slippers that I've owned have been great from a comfort and quality standpoint. This slipper seems cheaply made and there is no arch support at all. I don't like how they feel on my feet and would not get these in the future.

Comfortable, but attract everything.

These are or were super comfortable. But when you were them and have pets, or any kind of bur in your yard say goodbye. Get ridiculously dirty, so fast. Its annoying and just plan sad. I loved the feel, and look, but they collect ever speck of fur and dust.
