Just what I was hoping for

Very pleased w. this purchase. I read some reviews, where people complained the fabric used for these tank tops is too thin/nearly see-through... and some complained that seams were coming undone, etc. None of this was true for what I received. These tank tops are exactly what I was hoping they'd be. Yes, the fabric is on the thinner side - but that's how I remember these types of tank tops being (years ago), and that's what I was hoping they'd be. They're great. The fit is snug - but because the fabric is lightweight, the tanks conform to your body (as opposed to acting like a compression girdle). The tanks I received are well-made - no frayed seams, no loose threads... just your basic, good quality tank top. I couldn't be happier with what I received. RECOMMEND

It takes a bit of work to make them fit right, but these are stylish shirts for working out.

I'd had one of these that a friend gave me, and I absolutely loved wearing it to the gym. It is form-fitting, and a little sheer in two panels that run vertically over the pecs. It shows off one's well-developed chest quite nicely. I'd had it for so long that it had gotten threadbare and was getting holes in it. After looking around on here for quite a while I found that these were exactly the same shirt, albeit when I received them, they were WAY longer--in fact, SO much longer that I didn't think I'd ever be able to wear them unless I was able to somehow shrink them considerably. I went on the web and found that clothes can be shrunk be immersing them in boiling water for twenty minutes, and then washing and drying normally. I did this, but when they came out of the washer (I also washed them in hot water), I could tell that they were STILL way long. So I stretched them, using my forearms to pull the sides out about as far as I could. I then put them in the dryer and dried them until they were good and dry, hoping the dryer drum's heat would shrink them further. They were still too long. I did this every time that I washed dark clothes, over the next couple of weeks, and finally they are about the right length. The shirts are very forgiving, and go back into shape after each wash and dry, but each time they get just a bit shorter from the stretching and the heat. I love the fit, and they're light and airy, just perfect for working out.

Comfortable and durable. Recommend buying one size up if you're tall. Some light shrinkage in length over time.

Not as good as my old tanks

I have had 2(x)ist tanks for years and I have always loved them. Especially the fact that they are very long and stay tucked in (unlike several other brands I have tried). I bought these in the same size I have. These are VERY snug. They almost feel like compression shirts... not what I am looking for. I want comfort, not a shirt I can literally feel all day. The fabric is different and doesn't feel like it is going to stretch out much over time which would make them more comfortable. I'm afraid these might sit in the back of the drawer only coming out on laundry day.

Best light t-shirts

It's been about so many until I found this t-shirt and it's light and comfortable doesn't change the shape after washing

Thin and they shrink, but comfy.

These are thinner than expected, and previous tank tops I've worn, but they are still comfortable. Like their crew necks and v-necks they also feel very long when first worn, and shrink after a wash. I ordered these in a medium, and they were 31" from the top of the collar to the back bottom hem. After a wash, they were about 27" long.
